Lou's diary - (Celebrity Slim)

Hi everyone, Had a lovely weekend.

Walked around Llangollen yesterday and went and spent the rest of the afternoon by the fire in a pub (drinking diet coke).

Then Marc cooked a rissotto for dinner last night with a jacket potato too. (recipe coming up)... it was GORGEOUS!!

Then today we drove to Llandudno and walked along the beach in the wind watching the waves crash, was ace.

Anyway..... I went a bit off plan, but not too bad - see for yourself...

Saturday

S: Slice of oggie (welsh pasty) 6 syns and some fudge 5 syns
D: Rissotto (1B) (Peppers, onion, chicken, tobasco sauce and rice)

Sunday

B: Yogurts and banana
L: Jacket potato, salad, chicken, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and 2 onion rings (1B and 5 syns)

Fingers crossed for WI tomorrow........

Eekk - I forgot about the fresh crusty bread on saturday and the 2 sausages the butcher gave me for free!

Therefore, I declare that tomorrow will be PARSNIP SOUP day.... hopefully I will then have lost something when I step on the scales at WI.

I'm sure to lose some collegues or friends even if I don't lose weight.....Parrrp :sign0137:

Good luck on the parsnip soup. I hate the smell of them even.. bleugh!! Makes me heave thinking about it LOL.

I've been eating home made vegetable soup since yesterday lunchtime. I think I went a bit overboard on how much I made LOL

Glad you had a good weekend. Bet it was a bit gusty on the beach. 40 minutes down the road from Llandudno (where I live) it was blowing a gale.

hey lovely ..good to hear you have had a great weekend ..with your man...its ok you eat what you like cos you got love in your heart so it dont count !!! i have had a very interesting few days so will tell you all tomorrowq when i eventually get sober lolhugs from meeeee xxx

Ohh Gilly - what have you been up to?

It seemed easy to do yesterday, but think I'm going to have some fruit too, otherwise it's just too sloshy!!

Oh, and some porridge for breakfast as I'm FREEZING x

Mmm I know, it was proper butter too!! eek.

I was so cold last night, I dreamt I was in a blizard....then woke up realising I could see my breath and I was actually frozen. Brrgh.

Nice porridge in my tummy and now it's off to work..... RUBBISH. See you later x

I know... I've got a 1/2 day this Friday too!

I'm hungry - the porridge didn't really hit the sides this morning.

I'll have a yogurt at 11.30 and then my lunch at 13.00.... I'm so scared about WI that I don't want to eat or drink much today (If only I could have applied that theory to the weekend).

How's everyone else? x

As you would say to everyone else "make sure you eat properly". I'm going off target from 5th December to 9th December. I moved from Reading to Ayr in June after having lived in Reading all my life. I'm going back to Reading to see my 2 best mates and we be going to a couple of Xmas markets. So plenty of mulled wine, to keep warm of course.

Hi Lou, Susie - look at you early birds! I'm only just waking up, but have been at work since 9am.

Sounds like you had a great weekend Lou. You've been so good all week, it'll defo show on the scales tonight, Hon.

I love soup, but not sure about parsnip soup... hmmm... I'll just have to take your word on that one ;) xx

Wow Susie - big move for you, you're braver than me.

Morning Wonder, haha, love the "just waking up" bit, I think I've actually fallen back to sleep. I did have a lovely weekend but just really worried about tonight now though.

I've got no excuses this coming week though so it's going to be strict 200% Lou!

How was your weekend? x

Yeah, I can't seem to kick start myself this morning - just Monday-itas I guess.

Try not to fret about tonight. You've been really good all week, so a little indulgence at the end of it shouldn't sabotage all that hard work. I'm confident you'll be fine :D

My weekend was good. Very chilled. We had a 'movie' weekend, but managed to keep it healthy too. My only indulgences were 2 glasses of wine on Saturday and a few sweets at cinema yesterday, so I'm also confident that I'll see a loss tomorrow night. WE CAN DO THIS!! xx

Not really. Didn't have mucg choice. I was living in Reading with dad who is ill with lung cancer and was still paying a mortgage on the house. So we sold up moved to Ayr where my brother and fiance live and had enough to buy a house outright. The house has a granny flat attached which is all on one level and has its own shower room. Dads happy coz he doesn't have to try and manage stairs. I have the upstairs of the house which was 2 bedrooms but has been made into 1 with its own bathroom. Its great being near my brother but I miss my mates like mad.

Here's my food diary for the day:

B: Porridge (1B)
S: Quiche
L: Parsnip soup and 3 picnic eggs (3 syns)
S: Sushi (2 syns)
S: Hifi bar at WI (1B)
D: Chickpea dahl and rice

I'm still REALLY scared about WI....... I'm just so use to failing that I'm expecting it to be bad all the time.

You and your sushi:D I was looking at M & S Christmas food to order and they have a big platter of Sushi. Its expensive but I was thinking with all the money I'm going to save not buying sweets, chocs and other bad stuff I might treat myself.:47:All your food looks yummy apart from the parsnip soup. :sick0019: I'd swap you for sprouts any day. What tie is your WI again? I'm sure that it will be fine. You've been good most of the time.

My WI is at 6pm, but won't be home until.......8pm ish, I'll let you all know as soon as I get back, but don't be too excited!!

x
