Hi everyone,

Aww, I've missed you guys this w/e, I've been at Marc's since Friday, home now though.

I still feel pretty yukky, feel like I'm fighting off a cold so just really tired and achey.

OMG - Rob Brydon was AMAZING, I loved it, for those of you who watch Gavin and Stacey, he is "uncle bryn". Really really funny.

Anyway.... I'm also very pleased to annouce that I've MANAGED TO STICK TO IT virtually all weekend. Yippee.

Here is what I ate....

Saturday:

B: Scrambled eggs and sausages
S: Cold sausages and satsumas and yogurt
S: Marshmallows (5 syns) and cake (3 syns)**
D: Chilli (3 syns - packet mix) and jacket potato (1B)
S: Yogurt

** Marc took the cake off me and chucked it in the bin, hence only 3 syns - little fu*ker!!

Sunday

B: Scrambled eggs and 1 sausage
S: Satsumas
L: 6oz steak salad without dressing
S: 3 x light babybel (1A)
S: Quavers
D: Not sure yet, but something with a jacket potato (1B)

I'm really loving red days apart from I've just had to take a sachet of stuff to try and "get things moving", I've done just green days for about 4 years, so I think my system is in shock!!!

WI tomorrow.......... I'm well excited (fingers crossed), I'm off to make a big pan of carrott and corriander soup now.

I've been on the scales but I don't trust them so tomorrow will tell....

I've just made a big pot of carrott and corriander soup, It's lovely....

Ingredients
* 4 carrotts diced
* 1 onion diced
* Fresh corriander
* 1 oxo veg stock cube (1 syn)
* Black pepper

Place onion and carrotts in pan, add lots of black pepper and a bit of chilli powder (optional). Stir in a jug full of stock made with oxo cube (or other stock if you prefer). Boil down.
Add chopped corriander and more pepper.
Blitz in liquidiser.
Eat.

It's really nice and great for both days. xxx

I've just eaten a whole Quorn cottage pie. Never tried it before and it was lovely, couldn't tell the difference between that and real meat.

Was only 6.5 syns on a red day (4.5 on green).

I'm now going for a lie down. Phew! x

hehe, well this is the longest time I've done red days for in 4 years, but I use to throw in a couple a month.

I'm off to hospital in half an hour for my check up before I have an operation on my teeth (that week will be a great WI).

Red day today
B: Chopped melon
S: Yogurt and apple
L: Carrott and corriander soup with toast (1B)
S: Hifi bar after WI
D: Steak stirfry

Afternoon everyone, I've just had a huge bowl of carrott and corriander soup and a slice of toast, I'm all full up now but hoping I can wee it all out by WI!!! x
