Thanks Maria - I've got 5 weeks and 3 days!!!
Heeeeeeelp, I've only had two syns today and I want MORE, I need to break this habit, so I'm saying a big fat no to myself.
I'm on a rest day tomorrow, so going to Marc's (when he gets home from work), I'm going to have an extra easy day... my first, let me know what you think..
B: Scrambled egg on toast (1B)
L: Chilli and rice
D: Schezuan beef and boiled rice (10 syns max)(from chinese)
Is this ok? Going to put plenty of veg in chilli and eat fruit during the day too..

Girls - I need your help....
I'm off to barcelona in June for three nights with Marc.
Now - what to wear?? Thankfully the isn't a pool so don't have to battle with the swimming costume, but I want to feel cool but not look horendous with my flabby bits hanging out.....
I've not been on a "hot" holiday for about 4 years, which is when I lived in cycle shorts (eeek) and t shirts....
Any help appreciated, thanks x

how about cotton maxi dress with a light weight cardi if you are self conscious of your arms?
Below the knee linen shorts are cool and really flattering too.
If you wear vest tops you can layer them with a light material cover up (similar to swimwear cover ups), there's some nice kaftans about now too.
Gypsy skirts are still in aren't they? I bought some loose white cotton shirts when I went to spain last year and just had them undone with vests under them

Go Matalan as they have vest all colours for £2 and nicer than like of Primark.... They have shorts too linen to knee £8 - lovely - I got some!
Maxi Dresses and Normal ones just get from Primark if were you

Great advice Maria...
Linen and layers! I live in linen trousers on hols. They're comfy, light to pack and can be dressed up or down. I've a great pair in a pale khaki colour that have buttons part way up and can be rolled up into shorts, so they're very versatile.
I think a couple of pretty patterned wraps are good to take too. Small and light again, they can be used round your shoulders to shade you from the sun or in the evenings instead of a cardi. Use as a headscarf instead of taking a hat, and even as a belt! Easy way to pretty up a plain outfit.

Some great suggestions! Peacocks have some lovely summer gear at the minute, really gorg maxi dresses and they have some fab gladiator sandals too. I got lovely linen trousers out of River Island and New Look recently and of course Primark and Matalan have some lovely stuff which are really reasonable!

Great advice, thanks girlys. I've got some 3/4 length trousers, but feel they're a bit long... so going to find some below the knee shorts instead.
I've not got any linen trousers, so they're on the list. I think I'm going to go for bright vest tops with a little shrug to cover tops of my arms...
I'm going to spend more on clothes than the actual holiday knowing me.
As for Marc - I'm talking to him now, but we fell out over holiday clothes, I tend to wear quite a few black tops (as looks better than other things)... so he started taking the p*ss saying I'm going to be wearing all black etc. Argh, MEN!!
Anyway, today's food diary..
B: Baked beans and a muller light
S: Coffee
L: Mushy peas and jacket potato and teaspoon tartare sauce (2 syns?)
D: Schezuan beef and boiled rice (2B's)
I decided to stick with a green day instead of EE. Hoping for a loss on Monday but have to behave myself at the weekend. x

Hey - yup started LL today, have had my breaky (porridge) and lunch (strawberry shake) and 1 litre of water today so far, the food packs are much nicer than i imagined them to be!! I cant wait for next weeks weigh in. will try and come on here a bit more now, will find it easier now im back in weight loss mode. cool bout the hol lou xxx
