Morning/Evening Bren. I am always a bit envious of the fact that I am sat at my desk while you are having your evening :) I am trying to finish the remains of my 5 litre container of water that I started yesterday, while I work :)

had my first atkins shake for breakfast this morning :) yum yum. thought it would be quicker than having a proper brekkie but took me ages to drink it. ill be having them on weekends when i can never be bothered to have breakfast :)

How long you doing induction for?
 
It was 2 weeks last Tuesday. The thing is I was starting to struggle a bit with the losing on Dukan too. It's a pain because I just don't break the rules. I am at the same weight where I started to struggle to lose it last time (about 3 years ago). I am hoping the extra water might shift something this week :) The difference between now and 3 years ago (SW) though is that with low carb I don't feel hungry and I don't feel the urge to cheat and have any sod it moments. It's amusing me now, the number of people that have told me how well I look - rather than asking if I have lost weight :) It will come off - I will just keep plodding, but if not lost by this weekend may have to try going back to Dukan for a couple of weeks - and if no joy there, something else.... - oh and also I have had that slightly light headed, slightly manic ketosis feel for ages!!
 
are you
1) having citric acid in drinks/vitamins?
2) eating too much cheese/cream

Maybe cut out the cream for a couple of days and see if it shifts. sometimes cheese and cream and citric acid can cause stalls.

also can i have a look at your menus on fitness pal? you have to give me rights in your settings. your protein should be lower than your fat or you dont lose, also cals shouldnt be ridiculous like 3000 per day.
Cheryl when she started lost a stone in 2 weeks and stalled for four but then started losing again. If you are losing inches your body is possibly just shifting and catching up.
 
Mouse it will budge. Perhaps your just at that weight that Dukan says your body remembers. And your right u just have to persist.

I've tried something different yesterday and going to try and continue with it. I'm drinking 3 ltrs a day, finishing eating all food by 7.30pm and in bed by 10.30 to have a good sleep.

It's 10.30 now, so I'm off. Night all xxx
