are you
1) having citric acid in drinks/vitamins?
2) eating too much cheese/cream

Maybe cut out the cream for a couple of days and see if it shifts. sometimes cheese and cream and citric acid can cause stalls.

also can i have a look at your menus on fitness pal? you have to give me rights in your settings. your protein should be lower than your fat or you dont lose, also cals shouldnt be ridiculous like 3000 per day.
Cheryl when she started lost a stone in 2 weeks and stalled for four but then started losing again. If you are losing inches your body is possibly just shifting and catching up.

Thanks hon - I have changed my settings and done yesterday's diary. Mmm some of my carb values eg my cauliflower came up differently to my book. nI've not been having much cream at all but think I may cut the cheese down :D Not sure what to have for lunch - thought it might help to eat main meal at lunchtime today too. Have got dome mince out to defrost so may may some burgers.

Had a look at your diary and seems fine. I just amend my veg to say what it says on packet etc.

Ah well, there's another story. I took 11 tablets first thing this morning, mainly painkillers!

- included 1 vitamin and 2 echinacea. I have just checked the packets and they don't mention citric acid. Perhaps I will stop them for a couple of days.

Think I may make cheeseburger pie for lunch - so much for cutting down on cheese and cream :)
 
On the vitamin note, make sure they are not Chinese medicine vitamins only use the supermarket brands. Last diet I was on said they can effect your losses. I stopped taking them and the weight budged.

However painkillers may be having the same effect?

Why are you turning to shakes and bars... I thought the "real food" thing was the reason we liked Dukan/Atkins... is this going to be a regular thing? or just for the odd convenience? Just curious...

I have the waitrose mulitvitamins and I also have some floradix tablets. The waitrose ones have ascorbic acid - that's ok isn't it? Can't find the packet for the floradix so not sure what they have. My col is feeling a lot less full since having the veg every day:)

b ham and egg mayo
l lettuce boiled eggs, and corned beef
d meat loaf made from chicken, cauliflower and a bit of cream and a bit of cheese!

Today
b grilled sausages & bacon
l cheesebuger pie
d baked ham and lettuce and some other veg - not sure what yet
 
I just amend the weight until its right for carbs...or you can put your own foods in. you know when you search for a food...go to the bottom and add food you can put all the right stuff in. a lot of people dont bother with carbs of stuff so i always check. plus i think the veg doesnt have the fibre subtracted = not net carbs

Jo just convenience hon. i only bought 4 to see what they like. sometimes im rushing (esp in these dark mornings) to make breakfast.

Jo if you join myfitnesspal (you dont need to log your stuff) and go and add me as a friend LVLLT you can see all my food diaries there...2 weeks ahead! LOL

durrr Jo is already a member, she has been privy to my diary all this time and hasnt been checking my foods ;)
 
True true I did join yonks ago... but it's so much easier seeing people's menus in their diaries!!

I was interested to see how much, if any, "healthier" Atkins menus looked to Dukan. My curiosity is now assuaged! ;)

Re bars + shakes Vicky - I hear you re convenience. Just hope you don't go that route too often though... I think you just need an easy breakfast personally ;) (did I ever mention my muffins to you?!!)
 
well im not sure about the tablets but the liquid has liquid glucose in, are you advised to take them i.e. do you need them?
actually looking think the tablets might be ok.

Lol Jo - no your muffins? never heard of them ;) my food is on my diary anyway :) unless mouse wants me to hijack hers and write on ? LOL
