maintenance with 5:2

My problem yesterday was 1. I didn't plan my food, 2. I never had breakfast, and 3 I was sort of winging if through the day as was outta my routine with me being off work. Hubby brought in a DVD to watch along with some choc and I was too weak to say no. :(

I've planned today's food, so it'll hopefully be better xxx
 
You have done really well Carrie! I know what you mean about clean eating - before I started Exante, I began making all my meals from scratch and eliminated all processed foods. My diet centred around the following: Greek or natural yoghurt, protein, fruit, salads and vegetables, brown rice and wholewheat pasta, nuts and seeds. It made a difference; I didn't feel as hungry. I still had the occasional treat, but I suppose they are right when they advise sticking to the 80:20 principle. I will definitely be reverting back to that lifestyle, once I finish Exante. It is nice to know what is actually going into your food and helps to keep you on track.


Your smoothies look great. I have a juicer, but not a blender. I love green juices, as well as carrot and apple juice. Have a good day!
 
Finished on 1700ish yesterday. Went to st bees beach as it was a gorgeous day. Done cardio yesterday plus the walking so cal burn was okay. Done shred, davina arms this morning and stripped beds. Gonna take wee one to park on his bike as it's a beautiful day. Mango and pineapple smoothie for breakfast. No choc or crisps till after wedding! Had a nightmare that the dress didn't fit! Haha xxx

So tried the dress on and it's neater than I'm happy with! So that's spurred me on for a few really really good days ahead of the wedding. Just sat down to 196kcal tea soooo yummy! Xxx

Thanks ladies. Dress feels better today after a fast and will only feel even better next Friday after another 2 in that time. :) my eldest is getting ready to get his first lot of exam results today... School opens at 10am and were both nervous wrecks! :/ xxx

Oh my goodness look how tiny your waist is!!! You look amazing although I can't wait to see it in a proper full length shot when you're all glammed up! Hope all goes ok with results x
 
Aaaw thanks Lexie, feeling empowered today. Done shred, davina arms and now on my cross trainer! Making the most of it as I won't be able to use DVDs whilst staying with family xxx
 
So had puffed wheat, banana, raisins and koko milk for breakfast, Warburtons sandwich thin with 25g ham, 15g extra light mayo, 4g boullion, and a 10kcal jelly pot for lunch, tea was 2 x aldi prawn chilli and lemongrass fishcakes with 15g extra light mayo ( later added 50g reduced fat coleslaw as was spicy ) no veg due to saving it for fast day tomorrow and with us heading to Scotland on sat I'm not buying any as it'd wilt. Then another 10cal jelly pot with a fat free yoghurt and 25g frozen raspberries for pud and 2 x kallo yoghurt rice cakes for snack. Only on 1195 so far so plenty to use if needed but I am feeling satisfied. shred done, davina arms, 40mins cross trainer, and 30mins hula done! Yay! Xxc

Defo Lexie! And add another 30 mins cross trainer at night! I love how I feel with no choc or crisps in my system! Just wish It wasn't so hard to overcome the cravings lol xxx

I was but my non fast days were getting naughtier and naughtier and my dress felt so tight on wed that I've stopped the crisps and choc and just being super mindful until the wedding a week today. Trying to lose bloat... Eeeek! Xxx
