maintenance with 5:2

9.11 this morning. Needing some scan bran as feeling a bit bunged up so will get some on my lunch break. Xxx
 
Had another 2 x scan bran last night so fingers crossed I go to the loo soon, as tummy is starting to hurt a bit now. Scales 1lb up so hopefully a good fast today and Friday will see me have a loss on sat. Looking for 1-2lbs per week xxx
 
Not felt right the latter end of this week, very bloated, sluggish and heavy. Even after my fasts. I've not been to the loo properly since last Friday, regardless of scan bran and I know it's all to do with lack of water. I'm too cold at work as I work with ladies in their 50s who are going through menopause and the have the air con on constantly. It's like working in a fridge for me that's always been a cold tatty. They're very apologetic but I understand it's easier to work when your too cold than too hot and there's 4 of them. Because of this I do not wanna drink cold water at work. In fact I usually drink around 4 x 500ml bottles at work but the last week if had a few sips. That's all, somedays nothing. Not good. Food has been within cals and 2 fast days has resulted in a 2.1/4lb gain this week.

Took 2 dulco lax yesterday tea time to try to clear out this morning but no luck. So aim today is to drink drink drink and I'm only working till 12 so I'll drink loads of green tea when I'm home.

Feeling down. Xxx
 
That all sounds really tough Carrie.

But by the sound of it you're doing all you can to give a good loss and your body will catch up - probably when you've been able to 'go' and you stop retaining water because you're dehydrated. Could you have hot tea / herbal tea at work to get your liquids in?

You're doing so so well, just give your body a chance to catch up with you!

Finished yesterday on 1998 and that included a bottle rose and some sat night treats. I'm no longer taking exercise cals into account. My fit but is completely dead and even though I'm in my feet all day running up n down stairs I'm relieved I can't see my cal burn as it was making me believe I could eat more when infact I actually can't. I'll log cardio but that's if and I won't eat back exercise cals. I finally pood yesterday and even after an upday I was 9.11 this morning. As much as I drank rose wine I had a few very large detox teas before bed so not to be dehydrated. Have had an excellent breakfast this morning and planning fishcakes for tea. Have 5-6 packs in the freezer so need to start eating them haha. Will try now not to weigh till next sat. Sticking with 4:3 for the time being and starting 30day shred today. I feel do much better since going to the loo. :) xxx

Day 2/30 shred completed with my 3kg weights. I love it! Shoulders and upper arms are screaming at me haha xxx
