Not having a good day today.

I've bought a pedometer to try and increase my activity levels, since I broke my rib nearly all exercise seems to hurt still, so I thought I could take up walking to get a bit more active to begin with.

I've worn it all day so far and its on less than 3,000 steps, so should end up about 4,500 ish tonight. I know is this is very low, but hoping to build on it and increase bit by bit to get as near to 10,000 a day as possible.

The girls in my office actually LAUGHED at me when I said I was only on 3,000. One of them said "you've got a long way to go then"...

I know it wasn't meant as nasty I just feel really meh about it now. At least I am trying!! xxxxxxxxxx
