Mark's Refeed Diary

HAHA - like it! ;)

So what you got planned for weekend then?

My little one is going away for the weekend tonight with a friend, so that leaves me and the OH on our owns. Not sure what we'll do yet.

I've got some lights to fit on my brothers motorbike and footy on all weekend! :)

Not much planned for me as I am working. I am 12 hour days again tomorrow, then 12 hour nights Sun and Mon, then 4 off. I work 4 on then 4 off continuously, so unfortunately that includes weekends and bank holidays.

It will be nice and peaceful for you and your OH then, so plenty of time to maybe go out and find some nice exercise ;)

Duh, you men and your football. I am so happy we have 2 rooms and multiview, I can catch up with my corries and emmerdales while my OH watches 22 men and a ball.

The exercise would be nice, but I'm supposed to be playing footy tonight anyway, so won't need the exercise! lol

Will probably end up spending more time deciding what to do than doing it! :( Neither of us can make a decision to save our lives! lol

Might have a cosy night in, couple of vodkas, good film and something to eat (other than a salad) - but that depends on the weigh-in tomorrow morning!

You could always make a low fat chicken curry and have some boiled rice, followed by some lovely vodka.

mmmm - sounds nice, I was thinking more off a buy in crispy duck. :)

It won't happen, but it's nice to think about it! ;)

My friend who I work with has a day off today and he is in the chinese supermarket, I have just ordered loads, chinese 5 spice, noodles, soya sauce, chilli sauce, and I cant remember what else. Mmm, chow mein on Tuesday I think.

Sounds nice...you enjoy! :)

Right, back to work for me. Got a specification document to finish before I go home and wanted to shoot off early to see the little one before she disappears!

Have a good weekend.

Week 6 - Day 5:

Brekkie: Small bowl of porridge (approx 30g) made with water with a few raisins and a teaspoon of honey.

Lunch: Tuna Salad (which I should have had yesterday). Framage Frais.

Dinner: Salad with 2 smoked mackeral fillets and 1 small wholemeal pitta bread.

Drinks: 3 litres of water, 2 cans of diet pepsi and black coffee.

Snacks: A few dates.

Weighed in this morning and lost 1lb, so maybe I'm finding my happy medium weight wise, or the dried fruit did me no good!

Well done on your loss Mark, excellent.
Yes, maybe it would have been more if you didnt have the dried fruit, or maybe you could be coming to a plateau, might do you good if you want to lose more weight to have a higher intake one day as this can boost the metabolism. Sort of like gives it a little push.

Yeah, you're right, but it wasn't really by choice...all the timings went wrong. I left the place around 1pm for a 2.5hr drive and didn't want to stop at any m-way services...I'd be far to tempted to have a Ginsters pasty or something like that, so I opted for a couple of mouthfulls of warm Pepsi Max I had in the car! lol

Week 7 - Day 2:

Brekkie: Porridge with water, honey and a few sultanas.

Lunch: Small Tuna salad. Fromage Frais

Dinner: Porridge with water, honey and a few sultanas. Fromage frais

Drinks: 2 litres of water, 2 cans diet pepsi and black coffee.

Snacks: A handful of dates and 4 grapes.

Hi Mark, just looking through your menus for ideas lol You dont seem to eat very much still, are you still trying to loose weight?

Hi Emma,

I'm not intentionally trying to lose, just a little afraid of over eating and putting on. A variety of meals doesn't really exist, which is going to have to change at some point. As much as I love salads, they do get quite boring. lol

Last week I only lost a pound, so hopefully over the next couple of weeks I'll manage to remain at the same level.

I've been reading the threads about different foods, such as cheese...I love cheese, but could eat it by the block, hence my fear of even trying a little bit....strange I know, but maybe that's just me! :)
