Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Wi today.. I'm 89kg..., up from last week.. But I'm ok with that!

Totm arrived this morning and yesterday I ate loads of cake lol! At least I understand my carb craving lol

Feeling better this morning, more in control of my cravings :)

I also understand that I need to keep my cals lower than what I have been eating recently. So my focus for the future is to eat quality rather than quantity!

Also back to kettlercise on Monday...
 
This months totm has not made me feel as bad as last month! Last month I felt as if the plug had been pulled.. This month I'm tired but not feeling flat.

Also noticed that I can park better! Strange but true, when I was pregnant and up till lately I had lost the ability to park in small spaces lol last week and today I reversed in no probs :)

Today have been to kettlercise class - felt good - think I will ache tomorrow lol

Food today has been good.
Breakfast: almonds, cashews, primal trail mix
Snack after kettlercise: more primal trail mix
Lunch: salad combination, with chicken breast steaks, bacon rashers
Dinner: Hairy bikers lamb tagine plus veggies
 
Yay to an easier TOTM,

I am contemplating attaching my fitbit to gizmo for a few days just to get a healthy lead ;)

Lol. I was tempted to go to supermarket tonight just to get in the lead! But nah.. Need to sleep more :)

Pancake Day., arrowroot pancakes .. Yummy ..
Did make kids and rest of household normal pancakes lol and I didn't eat any normal pancakes - (slowly rubbing the marks off my halo lol) used spelt flour rather than plain white flour..

Better than homemade beans and cottage cheese plus "B R E A D" lol

Managed to keep my carbs down today lol

No bread for at least a week, if not more ;)

Had a Physio appt yesterday and he's happy with my shoulders progress, just need strengthening exercises and to work on my interior rotation etc - getting arm behind my back ..
He's ok'ed going swimming - but no butterfly lol gentle breast stroke :)

Also told me how to start doing pull-ups lol need to start with pull squats just to see if my shoulder/ arm will take my weight lol

Have been thinking of doing wing chun / martial arts again - but will have to check with instructor if they are ok with me and my shoulder etc ., used to do it back in my mid twenties .. Much older now lol

Off to a Lebanese restaurant tonight, just need to avoid the breads etc ., my stats for last few days are looking good :) and weight is moving down again - tummy is flatter etc

Thanks, Kat! They took it at work to use on the intranet etc. Going to get a new id badge made 'cos on my old one I've got a much chubbier face, lol. :) xx

It was sooo good ! Lebanese is a bit like Turkish/Greek etc
Grilled hallome cheese, fresh houmous, salads grilled meat, grilled seafood .. I ate no bread, rice of chips ., but couldn't resist the balaclava ..mmmm yummy also had a small hot choc frothy milk no added sugar .. Only drank 1/2

Was going to my boot camp class - but in the end decided Just lacking energy today - my youngest son was awake loads last night, so just very tired - no good exercising when I feel like this - just makes me feel worse :)

Also all that garlic is repeating on me .. Urky lol

Ooh that does sound good! I used to love going to Greek restaurants back in th 80s, but we don't seem to have any round here any more. :( Mmm, humous, baklava - hungry now, lol. :) xx
 
I made humous for lunch :) practically fat free as I make it with quark. It was delicious

I love humous, I buy the Tesco Reduced Fat Red Pepper one when I decide I've earned a treat - yum! :) xx
 
If you've got a food processor it doesn't have to be a treat. You just blitz the chick peas as fine as possible. Then add half a tub of quark garlic lemon and pepper and keep blitzing until smoother. It's the same texture as shop bought and totally guilt free. :)

WI this week lost 500g - back to 88.5kg

Think it was prob all the prunes I ate yesterday lol

I was so tempted yesterday to have a slice of white bread and butter! But I didn't :) .. Yay !
