Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

I think that eating "primal" will work for me long term, but allow me to have some of what I like too. Dark choc, cheese, dairy etc in limited quanties ..

But for weight loss I should! - need to keep my carb values to under 100 a day - most if not all the time . I know that keeping to 100-150 daily keeps my weight at about the same.., as that what been happening last little while, It hard cutting out things that taste so good! But finding alternatives, that taste just as good.. Gives me the will power to say no - most of the time ..

So last week I had a good week keeping my carb values down.. So had a loss .. Finally :) lol

Managed to make a big pile of pancakes for OH and kids - with normal flour and not touch any of them. Scrambled eggs and bacon .. Wee bit feta on the side - yummy!

Ahh I hate it when that happens! Or when I wake up in the morning to realise I fell asleep before turning on the sleep logging (although you can add it manually later as long as you were wearing it).

Even without your fitbit on I am nowhere near this week, that's what 2 full days of client meetings and lazy weekends do to you x

Out for dinner Chinese - someone's birthday - no rice, noodles, pancakes, prawn toast.. Only naughty thing was the pineapple and banana fritters .. Yummy - I know not to plan - but within the 80/20 rules ;) I don't feel bloated and over full - just right.. Def thirsty tho! MSG in the food ..

Has not made me feel guilty, really enjoyed the food, ate loads but mainly veg - the Bok Choy, and green french bean dishes, were sooo good !
Had loads seaweed - Devine - some crispy duck (no pancakes) with hoisin sauce - few Chinese style ribs - no sauce .. At the end couldn't say no to dessert - I Love pineapple and banana fritters - I choose to have no syrup - was just as tasty! Had 1/4 of a scoop ice cream too - plain vanilla.

Going to go drink loads water then off to bed !

Ended up not bothering with breakfast .. Just not hungry .. But drank loads water :)

Lunch chicken and loads salad stuff ..

Hoping to go to a wing chun Kung fu class tonight, but as it starts at 7pm needs to get kids in bed early....
 
Managed to get kids in bed and left at 6:45 for the class, Really enjoyed it, my brain had forgotten loads but my body remembered ;) My upper back aches today ., mainly arm work last night - starting back at basics, my OH is ok with me continuing lol must say I told him it was tai chi .. Rather than wing chun Kung fu.. Oh well I know if I told him it was a style of Kung fu he would say no! I tell him another time ;)

Breakfast/ brunch : 1/2 avocado, 3 bacon strips, tomato, cucumber, ricotta stuffed hot cherry peppers, apricot cheese, sprinkled with salt and balsamic vinegar - nice :)

Much better, Physio is happy with my progress, im amazed I can now do my bra up behind my back - in the past have not been able to do that - so progress :). But need to work on strengthening and exterior and interior rotation ., getting my arm further up my back and getting my elbow up and able to bend behind my back etc. 6 mths since op on 22 Feb - Physio said at one point he was worried I wouldn't be able get my arm above my head! Kettercise has def helped with my recovery!

Is achy with new exercises - but not that bad :)

My sugars arrived today., impressed with the Tiana coconut nectar sugar, made some coconut. Choc cookies with it., OH says they look like dog $*** lol. But taste very rich dark choc ., no sugar buzz either :)

The cinnamon stevia drops - smell yummy - but have yet to try them.. Next time I make arrowroot pancakes will add some, also bought some stevia clear drops - will try in my hot choc next time. Funny I used to love my hot choc - but this morning enjoyed it but only drank 1/4 of mug.. Tossed rest away. Even the diet coke I opened today tasted yuck!!!! Had a sip and down the sink with it! Lol

A type of alternative sugar.. Think I could add them to pancake type things - made by a company called sweet leaf. Is called stevia which is a natural sugar replacement .. 0 cals etc

Sweet leaf brand is meant to taste better than other stevia products / from the reviews. I got sweet leaf liquid drops in clear and cinnamon. Put a few drops in a 1/4 cup of hot choc - tasted ok :)

WI sat morning was a STS - not a gain .. But not great either

Sat lunch had some filo pasty pie - feta cheese and onions! Yummy - but by dinner I felt very sorry for myself! Bad tummy ache ., know it was the wheat in the filo pasty :(

Dinner was a primal fuel shake with added prunes ;) lol

By morning I was desperate for the loo and felt much better! Oh why! Why! Did it have to smell and taste so nice! Next time I make it I will just say NO! and tell my OH to hurry up eating it and don't leave me any ;)

Have been back to normal yesterday and today!

Today made some primal trail mix/ nutty fruity (no gra in it lol) nola but used some I the sweetleaf cinnamon drops / bit yucky after taste but can't really waste all the nuts etc ., so added the honey too which helped cover the taste a bit ., the drops were nice in my arrowroot crepes and in my hot choc but def not in the trail mix!

Been to Wing chun class tonight - cal burn 695 - wow 1:36 mins - the warm up was hard! Punching drills.., my shoulder was very warm by the end of it! Lol. Enjoyed it .. Looking forward to next week!
