Feeling much better today!

TOTM is due next few days, was suffering badly yesterday with cravings .. So yesterday's fast in the afternoon/evening was harder because of that. Did end up eating around 800 cals - had some 85% dark choc and macadamia nuts - seemed to help. But did push my cals up ..

I think the evenings are the hardest part of the day to cope with on a fast, at about 10pm last night i felt like having a pick but i got through it.

When are you fasting again? I am doing tomorrow.
 
Thursday or Friday I think ., depends on TOTM and how I feel :)

How are you finding the fasting?! I bought the alternate day diet book - where you fast every other day - to read up on the science behind the idea of fasting. I wasn't over convinced the health benefits disappear if you stopped the cycles of fasting!

Have you lost much - a woman at work is loosing 1/2lb a week if she's lucky! (Which I know is good I'm not knocking it - just wondering if cc can produce the same results without the hunger!?)

But I've noticed it's the new must do diet! Everyone's trying it :D xx
 
I bought the 5:2 diet book - as I think the alternative day diet is too hard to do long term. I've done 2 days so far - wasn't too bad ., although I was 200/300 over the 500 limit for woman .. Last week lost 1.4kg., lets see what Friday brings

I can also see me being able to do 1 or 2 days per week for a long time.. Another interesting thing is that I'm not as hungry the next day - you would think you would wake up starving ! Nope :)

Try ohso chocolate, it's priobiotic, dark choc for 72 cals, small bar but does the business x
 
Can't believe how bad my cravings have been today!! Feeling rotten with tight chest and sore throat .. Due on next few days

Tried fasting yesterday - cals were low but not anywhere near 500 .. Think it's a waste of time fasting week of TOTM - cant deal well with my cravings

WI today 87.9kg up 800g from last week - but knowing how much I ate yesterday / can see why ! I surprised I still have food in the fridge lol

Dinner out at cousins house another birthday.. Just had no cakes or bread etc. loads salad, lamb shoulder chops, had some houmous and falafel and 2 small potatoes - still carb high - but seems my body wants carbs - not so much the sweet ones today. I'm on top of my sweet cravings ! Yay :)

TOTM arrived this morning, cravings are much less, but still there.. Figure my body want some carbs - so last day of eating extra carbs is today!

Chinese lunch for Mother's Day.. No noodles or rice eaten - had starters of ribs, crispy seaweed, chicken sticks, chicken wing.. Followed by prawns and Bok Choy, chicken bamboo shouts and mushrooms, about 1 spoon of sweet n sour pork.. A spoon of lamb and spring onions .. Was really nice :)

Have a snack of tropical dried fruits .. For later :)

Not sure if I will have dinner lol thinking not!!

Kettlercise this morning - cal burn 467.. Planning on going to the wing chun class tonight too as long as boys in bed by 6:30pm !!

Have a bad headache ! Saw the chiropractor today and he clicked my upper back and neck my T4 was out - think that's where my headaches come from - so not going to wing chun - also my kids are just not settling into bed .,

Wing Chun is a type of Kung fu :) martial art ... Bruce Lee kind of stuff lol but I'm just a beginner .. Did it for about 2 year (ish) in 96/97 but when I moved to London couldn't find a class to join in my area .. But just started my kids at karate and thought ... Hmmmm wonder if there was a wing chun class near me! And yes there is and it is run similar to my old class :) just need to be super organised to go as its at 7pm and need to have kids in bed before I go!
 
Today is a fast day..

Breakfast: 5 almonds and 5 macadamia nuts
Water
Lunch: small portion of con carni (no chilli) no rice or spag
Snack: carrot

Dinner: courgettes spirals with garlic and 50g chicken

Could you not try 2 bowls of cereal for b and l then your meal?!

A fast day is meant to be 500 cals for woman .. Im a bit over that .. No not really hungry .. It's a day I find out that in reality I'm thirsty .. Ok have head hunger issues - and if I'm not busy my day drags on and on.,
