Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Ahh it's my sons birthday lol at my house .. Take always (Chinese) am ok with not eating the rice or noodles.., just the salt and MSG .. Lunch with SIL think I will be ok with choosing primal stuff ..

Sweets and cakes ., some will be primal anyway hehe !

BBQs are brilliant for primal too, all that grilled meat and salads and whatnot. :) Hopefully as your Chinese is on Thursday any retained water will have time to go before Saturday morning, fingers crossed anyway. Can you ask them to make your food without MSG? Our local takeaway restaurant will do that if we ask nicely. :)

I do daily fasting like that most days, except I tend to do more 14:10. It's supposed to have good health benefits and it suits my way of eating. :) xx

I tried the Chinese with out MSG - it's tastes better with it. :( The night I asked them not to add MSG everybody asked what's wrong with the Chinese? Lol

Naughty cakes are
Bakclava - made with walnuts and honey syrup
Banana cake - spelt wheat flour / normal sugar - have been told don't mess with it! Lol
Lemon cheese cake - nut / lemon cookie gluten free base

Yes loads salads, grilled meats etc too :)

I made a lasagna for dinner .. I really like it .. So it's the 1st time in months I will have eaten real fresh egg wheat pasta.. Already my tummy is bloating - my trousers are tight ..

Also ate 2 bits baklava .. Made with wheat filo pasty .. Knew I would. But now that's enough of it ., rest is for Sundays BBQ

So my own fault, .. Going to go have a fennel tea, plus some Aloe Vera.,

TOTM gained at least 1kg over night.. Chinese gained me another kg.

So expecting a big gain this week.. Busy weekend food wise .,

Plan is to fast Tuesday ., as will be spending the day driving up to Lincolnshire.. Will be fasting Friday as driving home again lol

Bring our rain coats and gumboots as it looks like rain .. and we will be doing loads of walking

I think my youngest son is getting chicken pox again ., this time properly with lots of spots .... There goes my plan to go up to Lincolnshire, will see on Tuesday morning if it has developed or not .. Maybe it's just a rash? Allergy ? I think I'm fooling myself lol

Eggs breakfast
Sausage rolls from Birdseye x a few
Some birthday cake - wheat spelt flour
3/4 slices med pizza - veg with Ham
Bowl buckwheat muesli and prunes with milk

WI today 87.6kg so a gain 1.1kg .. But once thus weekend is over back to normal :)

Fasting and eating mostly primal on the other days, going to try harder to limit my carbs to less than 100 daily.. Things have got away from me lately..

My tummy has puffed up from eating grains and is gurgling but no vomiting (touch wood!)
