Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Totm is fast approaching my face is starting to break out, craving salt, and dark choc..

Have been doing alright today, have had a bit more dark choc than I planned - but I also know that's my weakness when it comes to totm!

Shopping coming tomorrow with more nakd bars - which help too :)
 
Last night I drank about 1L water just before bed - I recon I'm still retaining it as don't remember pee'ing during the night lol let's hope if I drink more water today it will find a way of disappearing :) lol

Mmm I've been drinking loads water to see if I can flush the extra stuff away lol

My day has been alright again, have eaten a few too many muesli style bars - but at least I've not eaten too much choc like I did last night! I'm due totm in a few days.. My chin has broken out in spots and the daemon who lives in my stomach is starting to demand naughty food!!

I ate a oat based muesli bar and have felt ok, no bloating (ok no extra bloating) so think oat based items will be fine to start adding in next week.

I'm going to kick my cashew nut habit to the kerb - or just buy small bags of plain ones :£ lol The main cravings for sugary and high GI carbs is fading! I just need to get through my totm and still stick to plan!!

Lost 400g (0.8lbs) this week just glad my huge gain is going altho slowly :)

Going to start my kettlercise again on Monday morning, as haven't been for 2 weeks (ouchie!) also going to start adding oats back into my diet plan. Mainly porridge I every other day.

Still feeling positive, just hope I can cope with my totm cravings!
 
Just had Chinese for dinner, my littlest son has got tonsillitis, and when asked what he wanted for dinner (hasn't eaten much all day except milk) said Chinese, my OH said ok - so just had prawns, beef, veg and chicken soup with Ho fun rice noodles plus some pawn toast.. The prawn toast was lovely - but know my body doesn't like the white toast.. Back to normal tomorrow :)
 
Am so tired, my youngest sons temp didn't drop below 38 all night, was up every couple of hours to check him. Just going to put him in bed now and see if I can catch an hour too.. Lucky his temp has come down this morning :)
 
Thanks all, managed a couple of naps in between checking on youngest son - who was at least sleeping and oldest one who had a plate of Goodies, puzzles and Lego plus the TV, oldest one said it was kind of nice to not have my youngest "helping" him lol with his puzzles and Lego :)
 
Had my day off today, ok had a few naughty items - but no bread, pasta or rice.. Have had a few too many biscuits :) but feel good about getting back to it tomorrow!
 
Ok today is going alright, no massive sugar craving.. Just little ones- possibly caused by my totm but have not given in!

I made my quiche cups to put in the freezer, letting them cool on top of the stove, they were almost cool enough to bag and put in freezer and my OH comes in ooooh what are those .. Yum yum in his tummy - so bye bye 1 weeks worth of snacks in 5 mins, 500 cals disappears in 5 mins .. 30 mins of my time and then he still wants dinner .. Oh hahaha!!
 
I did a bit of a bread test on myself today., got 2 new styles of loaves - white milk roll loaf - kids like it - one slice makes me want to eat loads more and makes my head spin - so that's a BIG NO!! The other loaf was a polish half rye and half wheat loaf, with potato flour/ flakes too made by The polish Bakery (Middlesex) no good for sandwiches (top &bottom) great with soup or an open sandwich - no head spin and was filling, and didnt make me want to eat the whole loaf!! not sure how many kcals mfp say 159 per slice but that does seem a bit much - will phone bakery tomorrow and ask., lol OTT or what

My plan ( not counting today) is to do one day with some fruit and a few low GI carbs.
(hopefully managing to stay in control of my daemons "greedy" and "I think I'm starving!")

The next day no fruit and low carbs and see if my weight loss continues.

Also hoping to add in a bit more exercise as my headaches are setting down again.. So hoping OH will be home on time tomorrow :) and off to kettlercise - yay! I can only hope :)
 
Phoned the polish bakery and they kindly gave me the nutritional info over the phone. It's low in fat and sugar and has a high fibre content too :)
 
Ok didn't make it to my kettlercise class - have an eye infection and my vision was so blurry - hay-fever has a lot to answer for!! Have anti biotic drops which have def helped.. So aiming for Thursday..

My little son is feeling better too thank goodness! He has not eaten much at all since last Friday.

Today is my low carb day, finding it a bit hard, but am focused and will do it!!
 
Feeling good this afternoon, took some paracetamol, and drops in my eyes - had a nap for a few hours while my son was sleeping and a nice filling lunch and now my headache has gone and my eyes are looking heaps better feeling more positive - able to cope with rest of day :)
 
On well a gain this week of 800g - I am assuming it is my re-introduction of carbs this week which has not gone very well.. Ate a few too many crap items - also 1st time I've done a kettlercise class in a good few weeks, so will continue and aim to be better at choosing what carbs I am eating - also I think I drank more water yesterday than I have in the last few weeks! Lol
