Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Am going to be interested to see if it makes much difference to how I've been loosing for the last few weeks.. Which is why I started them today :)

Just hoping that the nakd bars and the almonds I snack on at the moment don't cause me any issues, as don't want to go back to eating the low fat, sugary snacks I used to.

Altho I will start having some plain yogurt with frozen berries as a snack too.

Had my 1st physio appt yesterday, have been given some passive assisted exercises to do. 5 exercises x 4 times a day 10 reps each...

My wrist and elbow are stiff and sore from not moving for 3.5 weeks (was not told to move them daily, which I should have been doing) so 2 of the 5 exercises are for my wrist and elbow.

Other 3 are just for my shoulder... Using a short stick/ long rolling pin all shoulder exercises are done laying down.

I can now take my arm out of sling for sitting and laying down as long as supported, but all walking and moving around still in sling. I was asked how much exercise I am doing, when I said I'm walking 6km (3.7 miles) min most days. I said that the sling was moving round a bit when walking .. And I was asked where's your waist strap for the sling .. I was not given one.. So I now have another strap for my sling round my waist to keep the sling more stable when walking. Is more comfortable :)

Still need to sleep in it, as I would normally in the past sleep on my right side which is my sore shoulder, can't be trusted not to roll on to it during the night. Lol

Can't believe they didn't give you a waist strap, it'll be a lot better for you now x

I know!! Really a bit cross how they have not given me info or put my sling on correctly., I could have avoided a stiff wrist and elbow had I known to move it.. :(

It's like them not showing me how to use crutches when I broke my ankle.. Luckily a friend of ours came round 2 days later as by that time I was covered in bruise's and apparently the way I was getting off sofa to walk with them I had a high chance of dislocating my shoulder grr

Have had my 1st sight of orange in the loo.. No Tango moments just a Sign that the tablets are working. I knew they would react to the almonds and nakd coca loco bars I eat as snack items. I am hoping that the shepards pie I made with lean lamb mince and ate last night will be ok as well.

Have to re-figure out what reacts and what doesn't .. As I'm eating different snack items than I was back in feb/march when I was taking them last. I dont want to go back to eating the low fat, sugary snacky fake food items I was back then.

Im also going to have my fish oil tablet much later before bed, and hope that it still ok to take with these new xen tablets.

Day 2 over :)

Hmmm I think it will be a learning process for you honey as you say you have changed a lot of what you eat & some of those things are you see are gonna react with the xen...... Hope you manage to work it out without too many problems x

Back to Friday morning weight this morning.. Not sure if it was my accidental totm weighing me heavier yesterday - recon was just spotting as its gone now, feel silly for missing my pill!! But I think it is more likely the mashed potato I ate for dinner on Friday, as I have not eaten potatoes much in the last 3 weeks.. Must say altho I enjoyed the shepards pie, I didnt feel that great after eating it!!

Have walked a total of 12km (7.5miles) today as per walk meter, Shopping and school pick up.

Am ready for bed!!
