Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Headache all clear now :) have resting most of the morning and my shoulder feels bit better too, even tho pain killers have worn off

WI today I've lost 700g (1.5lbs) this week - happy with that but think it might have been more but I got up at 3 am to take some pain killers with a big glass of water..

Feeling bit rubbish today as my youngest son was having trouble sleeping - sore legs and he ended up in bed with me which was nice I must admit (lol) but very uncomfortable as with my sling I find it hard to get comfortable anyway .. End result have a headache... And am a bit irritable.. Thank goodness for my helper I can at least rest this morning :) anyway took all my tablets and I'm sure my headache will disappear soon!

Oh I feel your pain of sharing your bed with a fidgetty child, Conal was poorly last night & I had to take him to the emergency Drs, he was having problems breathing (turns out he has a chest infection although I thought it was croup) & I was scared if it happened again in the night so I slept with him in my bed & kicked his daddy out but when I say slept think I have had about 2 hours sleep & he tells me he had an amazing nights sleep lol!

Hope you are feeling better soon & well done on your loss x

Hope your sons on the mend after seeing the Dr, it's scary when they are sick.

My youngest slept well 2 and is bright as a button today, it was just me that didn't lol

Walked to pick up oldest son from school again round trip is 6km. Took 35 mins to walk 3km so a reasonablely brisk pace. Took 40 mins home with children. Was lovely walking in the sunshine :)

I have started drinking sunraysia prune juice 100ml every morning for last 3 days and yahoo it has cured my toliet issues :) ok I am also eating tescos breakfast pots of prunes in natural juice too.. They are ok taste wise.. not great but they do work!! I am now going at least once a day.. Phew :)

Exercise is always much nicer whilst in the sunshine!! Good for you hunny xxx

Yay had a shower!! Am clean wahoooo!!

OH came home I said I want a wash please.. Was told come on.. Hurry up .. Was in the shower before I could say hoppity skip lol took my sling off as well, just held my arm carefully.

Just picked up both prescriptions of xenical and I now have 4 boxes which is 4 mths of tablets 3 x a day.. I had not realised that they had issued me 2 mths at a time :) Now just have to decide if I want to start taking them again - answer prob yes but need to check with doctor if ok with other medications

Bit weird am not really hungry for dinner tonight.. Just realised it is almost 8pm and I've not eaten .. Need to eat to take my tablets so just eating a tesco chicken hot pot meal.. Is mainly gravy with bits of chicken, veg, and a few slices of potatoes, is only 250kcals.. I'm also adding some sliced frozen green beans.

You're in the zone aren't you! Great to see honey & wow 4 months of xen that's fab, think I've got 7 weeks & have 2 prescriptions I never picked up from docs which I'm guessing they'd probably binned by now. I don't think I'll go back on them at any time soon, been off 6 months now & have lost 2st 7lb since then so that's averaging 1.2lb a week & I don't think the xen would make that any more... It's always there though if I need it...

I have to go buy new pair of trainers, my old ones with a new insole to support my feet and heel is not so good for walking the distances I just started doing :(

I have ended up with giant toe sized blisters on both my little toes and no I did not feel them my feet were a little sore but not that bad.. And yes I had socks on! My theory is that my pain killers prob masked the pain of my feet.., I also have blisters on my 2nd toe (the one next to the big one) under my nail... Also not sore lol

So off trainer shopping this morning! With my insoles :)

Am hoping. The shop has these ones :)

Silly shops went looking for size 7 shoes, and the ones I liked didn't come in a 7... Bah!!! In the end I was pointed at the running section.. I ended up with some blue and white trainers, are ok..

This morning I've just found out they are men's ones.. Not the woman's ones, explains why they were £10 more expensive than the place they were on the shelve when I was looking at them. Tried them on this morning walking round the house... They are a little bit too loose at the back, and my toe doesn't reach the end has about a cm of room- my feet won't grow any more... Decision made to take them back..

Also just looked up miss Kirsty's pink trainers - brooks... And about 5-10 mins away by bus is a running shop, after looking at web site can see they do running trainers with support already inside, so will go look this morning.

My poor husband took me shopping yesterday and waiting round is not his strong point lol and I'm now returning the shoes .. oops :)

I had to replace my gym and running shoes
also got these

Brooks Addiction 10 womens

The Brooks Addiction 10 is a motion control running shoes that helps support you low arched, overpronators out there. The sole provides a wide base of support, along with a firm, supportive arch to help counter the tendency for overpronators to roll excessively inwards as a part of your running stride. The Brooks design feature is to allow for advanced pronation control and smooth out the transition phase of your running stride.

Because they have an in built control for my foot rolling inwards.. I have loads of walking to do in the next 3-6 mths as I can't drive .. OH agreed to replace my trainers of which I have 2 pairs... Nike court shoes for Zumba and kettlecise and my running trainers for walking and running in the park etc..

The physio advised needing support in my shoes so that I stop injuring my heel etc

My heel doesn't hurt at the mo but neither am I ready to start running or my heel to run either ..
