Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

My scales say I'm 400g down this morning .. Since Friday I've lost 1.4 kg ., Weird !

But have not been 82.7kg for over 5 years., just hope it stays till Friday :)

Breakfast;
cup hazelnut milk with tsp cocoa powder
2 eggs, mushrooms, 1.5 bits thin cut bacon, lite feta cheese, 2 thin slices butternut squash. 3 pecan nuts.

Think I prefer the almond milk to the hazelnut milk.

New kitty's 1st night went ok, our old cat not happy - thinks we have brought a massive fluffy dinosaur to eat her.. Little fluffy Flash pounced on her Flicky tail and she shot off hissing and refuses to comedown stairs now lol

aw poor cat lol, my neighbours had a kitten that used to come in here and torment my cat, he hated it.

Sounds like you had a rotten journey, some people really dont care anymore and hate giving up their seats. I was waiting in line today to pay for something and was counting my money and this woman started pushing her child in front of me, heh no way if it had only been a child on her own i would of probably let her go but because it was the mother, no way. people are getting so ignorant and they get worse as christmas comes closer.

Well done on your losses so far this week you are doing so well. Are you doing anything different? hope it keeps up for you. :D
 
Had Chinese for dinner last night, salt and chilli squid.. Plus house soup that comes with noodles.. But didn't eat the noodles (go me lol) soup was just as yummy with out noodles..

Also made some granola which was ok, but didn't follow the rules correctly - do was nice but could be better lol ate quite a lot yesterday..

Therefore I know that granola, and Chinese add weight on lol weight up a little from Sunday.. But not worried know why lol

Woke up feeling good today, went to kettlercise class polar app with HRM said burnt 499 cals in the class.. Logged as strength training..

Also jogged about 1km to my class - a slow jog taking small steps! But still a jog - arrived just as class started! So did full class today - 56 mins

For 3:42mins burnt 1387 calls - includes jogging, walking and kettlercise!

Had a big protein lunch today - 200g rump steak, 2 thin lamb chops with broccoli and asparagus - yummy!!! Needed to refuel after working so hard today!
 
Had a good breakfast today of no oat oatmeal - only had 2/3 of it this time. My oldest son wanted some :) and truly I couldn't have eaten more than I have ..

But oh my gosh does my gluteus maxims hurt today ;) but my legs feel ok - also my tummy muscles ache as well! But all great!
 
Not sure what's going round my fingers are bit swollen (my ring is tight & its been loose lately) and feel bit bloated today., know I'm due totm soon ..
 
Sigh, TOTM has so many annoying effects!

I'm expecting to be right there with you on the pain come the weekend as I'm having a little kettlebell break - it's always worse to go back to! Doesn't take long to sort though. How are your shoulder exercises going?

Done! and Done!!!! Have a recipe for a nut granola - just need to follow properly the instructions lol - otherwise yukky!!

Yes totm is so annoying!!

This is my 3rd week of my Kettlebell class with added slow jog/ very brisk walk to class.

Feeling good after class :) making sure I have a low GI snack bar - with no grains in it. Like cocoa delight nakd bar. Then a good high protein lunch with loads veg. Then next day have my no oat oatmeal (NOO) for breakfast to beat the hunger I usually get - which normally has me reaching for "toast with butter" The NOO really is working :)

My theory is that the class gets the blood flowing to shoulder, it also warms it up which helps with exercises I'm doing with it..
Like this week..
Suitcase dead lift squats
Bicep curls, plus 2 handed bicep curls
Arm raisers
Tricep kick back - very slowly
Inline row - front bicep curl with fist facing out and elbow coming back past chest.
One arm swing and double swing - shoulder looks very weird as comes up. I've been trying to keep it back and down when doing exercises..
Rack - swing and with lunges, and lunge kick etc
Some of ab work
Plus also my own Physio exercises when I can't do the push ups and Turkish half get up.. Etc

Def did more this week.. All at a steady slow pace :) bit achy but not sore.. My bum and legs prob ache more lol

Just happy to be doing it!!
 
Scales today same as yesterday.. So still on track for a loss this week :)

Have had a few more carbs today - had a few of my sons chocolate Cheerios, I did overfill his bowl so I could eat some. Had about 15/20g not that much - but prob enough..

Also ordered an apple crumble to share with OH - which I had after dinner with 2 Tablespoons of single cream. Very nice but again a bit carby

Will see how it effects things weight wise. Really just felt the need for sweet stuff - know its totm approaching - so is it in my mind the wanting the sweet stuff or does my body really want it ?? Who knows lol
 
The tail of the two kitty's - Flash want to play with Paws the big pussy but she's still almost scared of him lol but she's also interested in sort of checking on him to see if maybe she might, maybe play with him.. Oh no a little puff ball is too scary I must dash up the stairs - but only 1/2 way lol - shall I come down and eat all his food and mine too - ok creep creep freeze creep creep.. and behind her Flash is stalking her lol Ahhhh little puff ball .. Run for cat door! Oh no I forgot I don't know how to use it!! Two kitty's at stale mate lol help me!! It's going to get me!! Me I remove flash and she's back 1/2 way up stairs and it continues lol
 
Haha that sounds so funny, they are such characters,mi can imagine once she gets used to flash they will be getting up to loads of mischief together :)
 
Today wasn't that hungry this morning, just had a few bits - but come dinner need more.,
Thai red curry mix with coconut milk and lamb on broccoli and asparagus .. Snacked on a couple of eggs before dinner too ..

Have a low back ache and feels like totm might be here vey very soon!

WI tomorrow am hoping for good things ;)
