Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

I'm going to try and make some quinoa porridge later I think..

Just been reading the primal blueprint - and quinoa is part of that plan in moderation :)

Ok still feeling ill, my tummy is sore. I've not got the runs or anything. Can't seem to make myself eat anything - I've had 5 almonds for breakfast and 5 more for lunch ... Almost think I'm past eating lol

Been drinking water and napping, I want to be better tomorrow for taking son2 to preschool and me to my kettercise class.

OH came home and we got some Chinese - I had some combination soup, which warmed me up as I was feeling very cold! Even with the heating up. Also had a few mouthfuls of noodles. Tummy has settled and I'm feeling less like throwing up. Have drunk 3 litres water today.

Am hoping I'm ok in the morning :)

Well I'm going to kettlercise class, my tummy feel a bit sensitive/ tender but I feel pretty good.

Starting my day with berries, seeds and nuts with some yogurt.

Surprisingly feeling much better today! Had loads of energy for brisk walk/ slow jog to my kettercise class, and felt good with good energy levels during class.

Walked in the drizzle to pick up my young son, and got bus back towards home, then to sainsburys as little son wanted sausages for lunch - of course bought more stuff than intended - as well as picking up duvet inner from laundry place - our king size needed washing - so managed to stuff v. large feather duvet in old person trolley I use, so no room for shopping lol balanced it on top - was really heavy as bought a few too many packs of meat as it was on special.. I still only use 1 arm as when walking I still have my sling on. Really awkward with little boy trying to hold my hand too - sometime I wonder about my brain!!

Had a big lunch of steak, courgette spag, mushrooms in cream sauce and tomatoes - didn't eat it all. Hope that the big protein lunch has helped with the normal hungry feelings I get from kettlercise class the next day.

Dinner has been 3 lamb chops - fat cut off as just too thick and too much of it - with a few bits of carrot and loads broccoli. Feeling full and not at all hungry for more of anything.

Was prob a bit higher but my HRM had paused during my kettercise class lol

Max heart rate 175, ave heart rate 113 - 2 hours fat burn, 2 hours fitness :) cals burnt in 4.14 hours 1328

50 min kettercise class, 10 mins v. brisk walk/ jog
Rest walking briskly 8km covered in 4 hours.

Feel good :)

My legs feel ok this morning, but my lower back is a bit achy, in like the muscles have been worked, not achy like sore :)

I found a new recipe for no oat oatmeal. Was really yummy - but really makes enough for 2 people lol Very full now :)

Oh yes, def feel good for doing the exercise, just my body aching until it gets used to it again :)

An happy my weight is finally moving down again! That gain I had with eating Xmas cake and other birthday stuff is finally going :)

Am hoping by eating well yesterday and having that big energy bowl of no oat oatmeal I will have sorted the normal cravings I get from kettercise class :)

Must say I've not been hungry much today lol

That big bowl of no oat oatmeal really kept me full! Next time I make it I will make my husband and kids try some too :)

Made hairy dieters beef and ale casserole for dinner with cabbage and celeriac, plus a mouthful or 2 of mashed potato .. That's one I have a hard time resisting still :) the odd mouthful of mash mmmmm yummy

Have eaten 3/4 and am stuffed!!

Have you tried cauliflower mash? Chop and steam it (so it stays dry - very important as otherwise you get sloppy purée) then blitz with a hand blender or processor until smooth. Nice with salt, pepper, blob of butter and snipped chives mixed in.

Cauliflower rice- easier done the other way round. It's it into small bits first. Put into a bowl with a lid or cling film - no water except the bits you've rinsed it with. Then microwave for 4 mins. Fork through the butter. Perfect
