Day started really well as I got up to discover hubby had been unable to sleep so had got up and ironed all the holiday clothes. What a star!

I think I may hire him out. While I spent the day with my mum he did the garden. I am in bed just now while he is doing dear knows what downstairs but I can hear him moving about. Washing the floor would be good!

I was really a bit naughty as when I smelt the bathroom cleaning stuff I stayed in bed. By the time I was ready he had cleaned the whole house! We are having five people to stay this weekend so the house had to be really clean and tidy. By way of compensation I made him his favourite crepes with pear and brown sugar. We have been married for 40 years and I know when I am on to a good thing. Hope you all have a good weekend.

I love your update Mere. I am the same,know a good thing. OH shares all the hose work with me and cleans the hose top to toe on his day off. I have been married to him 28 year in a week and no one else would put up with me as I am so high maintenance

Hi girls I was off on my travels again. In Skye for a few days but hotel had no wifi so have been out of touch.
Last time we were in Skye hubby found an expensive camera lens in a bag which we handed in to police station in Portree.
This time we went to collect said bag but policeman said he had made a mistake and taken it to a charity shop!
To cut long story short this was a lie and after a long complicated tale (pack of lies) I got the stuff which was still in the police station. Should I report this to chief constable? Hubby says no. Thoughts please.

Absolutely report this! Really rocks my nerves when people of authority do things like this, Makes me feel unsafe as I see them as ones to look out for us all. Very sad and disappointing.

Whats your plan in regards to monitoring weight, I realise its Wednesday today so was wondering if you still hop on the scales on Wednesdays or a day in the week xx

I had no scales when away so I will probably weigh in next Wednesday. My clothes feel a bit tighter so I will do WS for a week.
