Minilady's Diary... getting back on track

Hi Sarah

Was lovely to meet you too!!! It was a lovely day and far more relaxed than I'd imagined, everyone was so friendly, I'm still buzzing!

You stalk away:D It'll be great to hear from you:)

Next time I come to London I wont be so worried about the tubes now I've had a taster. I got to the tube and circle line was having some problems, so I had to go on Hammersmith line and then onto district, was a bit worried I'd end up in timbucktoo but to my joy arrived safely at Victoria:D

Georgie I think I can learn a lot more from you! You looked fantastic, even better in real life:)

Well I've posted the pics of the pink top on my profile page thingy. I did think about putting my hair in pigtails and sucking on a lolly for the picture but decided that would be going too far:p

can it be a week night (if it were a Thursday we could combine shops and night out) .... as I can't play on weekends

Thursdays are one of my busier days CDCing wise, but I'm sure I could sort something out.

now we have completely spammed your maintenance diary and everyone in the future who reads it will read all this .... see, that's what profile pages are for!

Lol!! Don't worry not many read the maintenance forums;):D

and if they do it might encourage more to join us:cool:

I cant keep off the wii fit:eek: Plus the weather has been so lovely that it's given me the inspiration for a bit of gardening:eek: My idea of gardening slightly differs from the norm as I like everywhere decked or paving slabbed. However we have a small area of grass for the guinea pigs, which just isn't enough, so another area has to be grassed.

Also Katie I owe you an apology, I still havent posted your magnet:eek: I will sort it out tomorrow.

I hope you're feeling ok now and are back in full swing diet wise.

Evening.
hows life?

Hi Jane All is well with me, a lovely thunderstorm has just started here and Scott is desperately trying to burn the last bits of our old rotton shed, which is quite amusing as bits keep falling out the fire bin and dropping on the decking, I know exactly when this happens as I keep hearing loud expletives and the hissing of the hose:rolleyes::D Silly sod should have moved it further away from the decking, but by the time he thought about it, it was in full roar!

I also owe you an apology, as I haven't posted your letter either:eek:

Hope all is ok your end.

Always Read Tracey ... don't always post! Hope you are ok??

I'm fine thanks Bev:) I went to the mini meet in London the other day and now feel I'd like to come to a big meet, so hopefully our paths will cross one day. I've checked out the next few but unfortunately can't make any, hopefully later in the year.

Thanks for thinking of me ladies:):):)

Us too. we had a great show of lightening. Dogs went berzerk & kids all out of bed at the windows. Silly Sod! doesn't even get close.
Having a fire on a wooden base.
Just think what he'd have said if you'd done this?
"So blonde"
"Typical woman" oh & you can tell him what I said!

I also owe you an apology, as I haven't posted your letter either:eek:
tracey.... the only bit I'm really excited about is the fridge magnet...theres no rush for the other stuff. Bring it up on nugget day if you want.

Hope all is ok your end.

Yes Thankyou. It's all ok.
Despite my unplanned salmon attack I'm feeling optimistic that I'm still ketosis bound & feeling much more settled re the diet than I did when I began this thread 3/52 ago. So high hopes of progress being made.
The other thing that concentrated my mind ( apart from work skirt not doing up) is that it'll be sports day, speech(yukyuk) day, no2's leaving primary school day etc in 8 weeks & I've only got 1 dress & there's no way I'm buying another!

On Second thoughts....Blonde doesn't get close.
Arwe you seriously telling me Scott was burning down the old shed, on the decking in a thunder storm?

No wait a mo..I get it!
He's banking on the lightening strike to ignite it & the rain to extinguish the decking......I take it all back,
THe man's a genious!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!! Not right on the decking:eek: But just beside it:rolleyes: so pieces were falling out as he'd crammed so much stuff on and landing on the burning deck:D

As for the salmon, all that omega 3 is good for you and it's so tasty. The coconut on the other hand:rolleyes:;)

I'm glad your on the right track though, 8 weeks is plenty of time to shift the small gain. I'm routing for you:party0011:

These past few posts made me grin this morning! We had a cracking thunderstorm here last night, and just can't imagine anyone burning anything in it! Typical man thing. I guess he wanted to be a fireman really, or a superhero. At least you are here to tell the tale!

Snap Nikki, made me laugh like a loon this morning, thanks ladies! Bless him xx

Bless him:eek:

Well girls my poor hubby has not had a good time with the gardening malarky, it really isn't his thing!

I have a small grassed area already (now surrounded by charred decking:rolleyes:) So today I decided to strim round the edges etc. So got out strimmmer and was quite happy, when out he came and announced that I'd got the strimmer guard round the wrong way and if I wasn't careful something could ping at me. So he put it straight (very kind of him:)) Then the stringy things had all snapped off, so I was in the process of pulling more through when he decided to help again, by this time I just wanted him to let me get on with it, but no:sigh: he moaned thatI was using it dangerously and he'd finish the job. So he proceded to pull the stringy things through and put it all back together and started to strim. Unfortunately he pulled through too much and with the first strim it caught him on the ankle:eek: Lol and I was the one using it dangerously:rolleyes::p

Don't you just love Karma:cool::D

Thanks Tracey, as you say there's plenty of time IF I stop messing about. However, therein lies the rub..my mind is playing the complacency game, because it knows there's plenty of time.

Didn't we Just!
spectacular Sky-works.
Nikki Do you live In Worcs city?
It's just that a client came up this am. Denied any awareness of the storm. Lives in Britannia SQ area.
Can't believe it wasn't visible/audible/palpable from there. suspect it says more about her level of distraction than the cities climate. Typical man thing. I guess he wanted to be a fireman really, or a superhero. At least you are here to tell the tale!

Arsonist more like:rolleyes:;)

Hmm? A one legged demolition arsonist storm chaser?
Doesn't sound a very stable career.( one legged not v stable ...ha ha)
Suggest he keeps up the day job for the time being.

Tracey, one Q: you omitted to tell us what you called him as you removed the strimmer wire embedde in his ankle.

:rotflmao: poor hubby! Cheers for that Tracey, gave me a real smile on my face -- men and their fires eh? My hubby once lit one too close to the conifers and we had one poor burnt looking one for ages - could have been much worse for us if they'd all gone up like your decking could have.

Re his ankles, I went ouch in sympathy with him, must have hurt like hell ... but yep that's karma ;) Bet he'll think twice before telling you how to do something next time!

Don't worry about the magnet, I've so far managed to stay away from the fridge just with the thought of it ..... don't know how long that will last though so don't leave me too long just in case I eat the bloody fridge!
