Emma is correct! Sometimes they have it BOGOF too. Unsure if they have oatbran too but assume so and thats easier to stomach in my opinion xx
Hope you don't mind me chipping in as you were asking Minky but as you might want to jazz up your existing wardrobe (and if you're anything like me with a love of all things dark to inject some colour) you could start buying accessories like bangles, necklaces etc that will go equally well when you splurge on your new smaller clothes and will serve as a good reminder of how hard you worked to get the accessory AND the new clothes and offer incentive to keep going? whatever you choose to treat yourself with just make sure you enjoy it, after all you earnt itHELP!! Minks - can you help me please. I am looking to set some mini goal "treats" I have been feeling quite down recently as I foolish thought that my weight loss could be rewarded with new clothes at each stage - but i'm not (yet) dropping dresses sizes as much as I thought I would be.
So I am setting different treats for each half a stone, building to a big treat of an eternity ring when I get to my 40th and target next year. So, any ideas? So far my list includes manicure and pedicure, eyelash extentions, spa weekend, tattoo (?) Any other suggestions?
You can have chickpeas on a red day, I know this because it was one of the things I learnt on the 12 wk challenge
Thank you, that is a great idea. The accessories would be a great reminder of what I had achieved so far. Just frustrated as I was using clothes as a motivator/treat and even after 2.5 stone there is not enough dress size change even though I have lost loads of inches! There are recipes for cheesecake using scan bran and fromage frais for the base or with marg, I think fromage frais would be better purely because the SB has such a strong flavour xxI wonder if you could use those scan bran things with sweetener added and a measured amount of syns of low fat margarine or whatever and a healthy extra portion of soft cheese and whatever else you need to create mini cheesecakes? Bear in mind I've never seen a scan bran but wondering if it might work (I'm not sure if I ever made cheesecake before so struggling to think what goes in it but I'm sure I've covered that up really well lol) Well done on your loss this week too
It was a veggie one. Tesco meat free range and was 7.5 syns. Tasted and felt like chicken if that makes sense?? XxHmmmm watching this scan bran situ with interest, I've never tried it but love ryvita.... Loving the ideas your coming up with for using it too!
Ohh and you had a Kiev last night too! What type was it? Veggie or chicken? Xx
I'm waiting on the effects yet xxI wonder if SW/scan bran/Andrex have merged companies and are trying to boost sales with this challenge?
Good morning all!
So day 2 of SB challenge in my diary and looking forward to today
Breakfast - CAKE!!! Having it with yogurt and then following with melon. 4 SB in the cake, will probably have 3 slices and leave one for after dinner.
Lunch - leftover SB chilli (1 SB)
Dinner - mushroom risotto with asparagus and tenderstem brocolli.
Nom! Xxx
Even with the SB, food for today still sounds yummy! I've still got some lurking in the cupboard - night just have to make me a cake!xx
