Yeah I just got it in West Green sainsburys. It was £1.99. My friend made rice crispie cakes with it at the weekend using the whole tub *jealous*.

Ooh didn't know they had it in Sainsbobs! I saw it the other week in the new shop in County Mall that has all the American sweets - bet it's more expensive there!

And to follow will be the last of the scan bran cake with ice cream, nom! Now, do I have the whole pot or half? I have the choc, passionfruit/mango and strawberry so a nice choice. Probably go for half a choc? Xx

But using the whole jar would make a sickening gloop of sugary balls. At least we have control ay? (Remind me of that when I'm knuckle deep trying to get the last of fluff at the bottom of the jar, sobbing because my fingers can't reach ) xx

Minky.....having subscribed to your thread when i first joined Minimins, i hadn't ever really looked through your posts (mainly cos there were so many pages lol) and had started at the most recent post whatever day i first subscribed....
anyway, i decided to have a nosey at page 1 just there....and i couldn't even keep going cos i just had to say...

i absolutely CANNOT believe how fantastic you look, in fact, i can believe it cos i've always thought it but i've just seen your 1st post...and the before pics on page one and ...well...just....WOW!!!

i've read through some stuff and knew that you had done so well, that you had been working hard for such a long time but bloody hell girl....i'm just...i don't even know! lol
i don't know you but just wanted to say (again...and like so many others) WELL DONE!!
i know the demon thoughts and feelings never really leave us sometimes when it comes to weight but you only have to look back at your first few posts and see just what you've achieved!

Awww thank you for being so lovely! The pictures really help to see how far I've changed and keep me in the mind set of never going back to that. And I'd gladly take the flowers... but I have no vase thank you sweetir xxx

your scan bran creations are looking lush. oh and fluff is amazing, my parents got us it once when we were kids, fluff on white bread, chocolate spread on another slice of white bread makes an amazingly synful delight.

How sweet of your OH to buy you flowers. They are well deserved though!

I got them at tesco! Think some of our local shops do the reeses pieces too which are gorge xx

They have lucky charms in that shop - they're about 5 quid!! Couldn't believe it! But they do have some amazing looking stuff xx

Wooooo! Favourite day of the week yay!

Food is an awesome red day.

Breakfast - half scan bran banana cake topped with half HexA philli light and banana n custard yogurt (2.5 syns for the whole cake, 1/2 for this evening)



Lunch - bacon and low low sandwich (half HexA) with lettuce, onion, cucumber. HexB bread

Dinner - chicken kebab and superfree chips with salad. 5 syns pitta, Mayo 1/2 syn

Followed by remaining CAAAAAAKE!

Picked up a small shoulder joint in morrisons last night - they were half price!

Does it use sweetener? As I hate anything with sweetener in usually.

Quick question minks - did you bake the cake in the takeaway tub in the oven? Did it take the heat ok? Most SB cakes I've seen have been microwaved!xx

Hello lovey, it was from the mag and off the top of my head there was no sweetener in it? If you need the recipe I know it was posted on xJoanneJJx 's diary - I'm at work and don't have it to hand xx

Thank you hun I reckon you should get some SB in your life - if only for the health benefits... yeah right! I'm seeming to think that cake is the only way to make it edible but I don't want to overload on un-necessary cals like eggs n stuff so today is the last cake day of the week xx

My coffee cake I baked in a normal tin in the oven and my banana cake was a takeaway tin in the micro. Personally I found the microwave cake a better texture. Oh! I only used 2 eggs in the banana one too rather than 3. Consistency was better IMO xx

Hmm...I followed the banana cake recipe which said oven so I went for silicone muffin cases and they are in the oven as we speak. Maybe these ones will be an experiment! Lol xx
