MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

Mish mash lunch today! Tuna mixed with yellow pepper and onion, lettuce spinach grated carrot and cheese salad, with 2 boiled eggs. Same tomorrow as I done far too much but at least that's Friday sorted.

With the plans for breakfast and dinner it means I have a hex b available..... Might have to take a look at the weetabix bars. I have heard a lot of good things about them. Hmmm now which flavour??

What a lovely looking lunch I made. What a lovely tasting lunch it would have been....had my supervisor not created a HUGE row with me one mouthful in and totally ruin any chance of me enjoying it. Have spent the last 40 minutes trying my hardest to calm down and not just hand my notice in. Rrraaaarrrhhhhh!
God I actually detest my job. If I didn't have bills to pay I would have walled by now. Why oh why aren't there any jobs around at the moment?! I could scream I am so angry! Stupid stupid woman! Why can't she retire already!

Rant over.... For now. Grrrrrrr.

You really did have a similar day to me!! Hope your feeling better now, I know how your feeling for sure but that meal looks lovely! Shame the enjoyment was taken away!

Hey Em, hope your day got better and your ok. Work was great on Friday as my supervisor conveniently called in sick. Shame.

So today feeling deflated. Another poxy STS. In a month I have lost 3lbs. 3 weeks out of 4 I have had STS and I don't know why. Was really disappointed when there was no budge on the scale as been good all week.

Maybe it's portion control - maybe I need to down size on carbs or general size of meals.
Maybe it's the exercise - walking to work I pulled a muscle and it's been aching/hurting when I walk so might be water retention where it's trying to protect it. Or maybe I need to definitely up my current amount of exercise.
Maybe it's my meals - as in I am not having enough variety and my body is kinda used to the foods so in a plateau stage. Mixing it up might remind it to get rid of some of this god forsaken fat.
Maybe I have to keep a food diary - if I keep one in here and again I STS then others can take a look and point silly things out that I have missed. Or make alternate suggestions.

I dunno. Going to root around on here and through mags for inspiration on meal ideas. Failing to plan is planning to fail after all.
Going to go sulk for a good hour and kill some people in Call of Duty black ops (imagining them to all be my supervisor ;) ) and hopefully be chilled enough to plan meals.

Bah.
 
I would recommend the diary as there are people who could look at that and tell you exactly what to try, it could also be about mixing it up, I've read a lot of people who's body just gets used to their plans and then they change it totally for a week and it gives them a kick start! Our bodies are mean sometimes lol

Diaries are good. Even though I've been going for over a year I still do a diary, in fact, although I didn't do one last week, the previous 4 weeks were handed in to my consultant to check! Probably half the reason why I shifted so much weight last month. It definitely works for me.
 
Thanks to both for the moral support. Always nice to know that there is still some faith out there :)

Got a little shock to find the dreaded * week has reared it's ugly head early so here is the hoping that it's just water retention. *fingers crossed*

Still going to post my food and drink in take in a food diary. I don't go to class anymore because I moved and didn't attend for a month - didn't want to rejoin and have to start again with a new start weight. It wouldn't feel right. Or fair! I was already just under 3 stone lighter. So I just make my own little stickers and stick them on my book ha ha! Silly I know but I like to see them build up.

Anywho, hope you are having a lovely Saturday and here's to a good week (eeek!)
 
So yesterday I tried my very first green day! Didnt go too bad and assumed I got it all right *ponders....* It was never really explained to me when I started so never touched the other plans. But I think I have sussed it out and if I am right the today is also a green day. Will post my food diary tonight when I am actually half awake.
Or tomorrow when I am off work! Woo! 2 day week and I can't wait to get today over with.

Now to finish off my couscous before going to work.

Have done 3 green days so far and hoping it pays off! Not really missed having a lot of meat - although when I cooked bacon on Monday I could have easily demolished the pack! Mmmm, smoked bacon :p

Usually when I am not at work I find I would snack more but today have been pretty good. Just breakfast and lunch with a banana in between. Thinking dinner might be a jacket spud with beans and cheese rather than tuna pasta bake. Something easy. The pasta can wait till tomorrow and then left overs the following day.

Just wish the OH wouldn't sit eating home made fillet tower burgers washing it down with a beer as if to say "what?". Grrr. Ah well I will reap the benefits when I am slim :)

Talking of slim, managed to dig out some awful looking pictures of me pre SW (damn those friends with cameras on a night out!). But in all honesty, I took pictures of me today for comparison and can see the difference. Tomorrow I will bravely go where I haven't gone before.....posting them on here.

Oh can't wait to see those!! I took pics the day I started SW and took some more in the exact same clothes and pose after my first 1.5 stone and will continue every stone and a half to take them in the same clothes - I could totally see a difference but not brave enough to post my before pics until I have some skinny after pics lol

Ah I have just met up with my friend who hasn't seen me in a little while and said I looked amazing! Little ego boost for me! Although loads to go still the confidence boost from it is always lovely!

So... Pictures. I will upload these tomorrow now as away from computer and just been so busy!

Ha ha ok ok! I will tonight upload. After twilight day. Woo!!

Very hungry today, unsure why but think it might just be because I have been up since 4:30 and it's sent my body clock a bit crazy. Totally want to eat everything! So far had some grapes, mini toasted pitta, pear and some tuna pasta salad. Cups of peppermint tea going down a plenty and have bought with me a banana and also a weetabix bar but won't be home until at least 6. My friend isn't very SW minded but then she shouldn't have to be! I'm the one on the "healthy eatin plan" not her. Might suggest nipping to Tesco before we go to the cinema.

Ahhhh gimme food!!

During - work uniform...

Here are a couple showing my stupidly large work shirt and how big it has got. It was tight on me when I got it. So kinda happy with how it has started to hang off me. Have pulled it in for extra effect in the later shots.

During - Normal clothes

And finally me in normal clothes - plenty of way to go and stuff but I have a shape back! Rather than just the one (round, not square in case you wondered :p) but my little hour glass is starting to show woo!!
Oh and last but not least a facial comparison - excuse the no make up, left it all at my friends last weekend and I aint looking too clever on the lack of sleep I have had today (excuses excuses I know :rolleyes:)

Thanks Emmey, I felt like I needed to 'fess up and acknowledge how I looked. I didn't necessarily feel like I looked that big but clearly I did!! Onwards and definitely downwards! Xxx
 
WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!

Where do I start!! Got up this morning, normal sort of dread for the scales - especially as I have been experiencing the blasted STS for like a month. But, clearly with me changing the diet and meals about it has paid off. This week, I was able to stand on the scales and grin from ear to ear.

TOTAL 6lbs off!!!!! Taking me to dead on my 4stone lost! Woop woop!!

I nearly didn't believe the scales and had to weigh 3 times and take a picture (I take pictures of everything so why not the scales?!)
