Ooh you ha the bean burger before? I'm into veggie stuff in a big way at the moment and up for trying new stuff. Welcome back in the wagon sweetie xxx

Well done Minks.....don't be disappointed at all that is a fab loss xxx
You are doing really well and not easy cooking and planning meals when working.

Recommend the bean burgers - I love them - they do cheesy sausages as well. I have bought the mushroom burgers to try too.....buy 2 packs for £2 at the mo. Love veggie food and know I should do more baking but prefer to use my syns for meals when working......not having any sweets, choccies or wine this week :O

Thanks guys :) I know it's a good loss and shouldn't be disheartened. Next week I'll be in the 14's for sure so I guess I can have double celebration to get into the stone below and also have lost 5.5 stone. Only need a 1lb for that and 2 for the 14. So fingers crossed ay?!

Just looked up the bean burgers, they look lovely! But 6 syns, that's quite high? But not for a main if that makes sense? Might look at the ingredients and see if I can concoct some form of lower syns ones myself :)

Have a great day all xxx

Hey well done on this weeks weight loss. I see you try and drink quite a bit of water... im trying to do the same but find it hard going at times.... do you think it makes a difference to your weight loss or even fills you up more?

Hello! Thanks for the well done :)
As for water, I try and drink the recommended 2 litres a day, purely so that it helps with the fibre intake and such - need it to combat getting bloated, bound and putting it nicely; windy! I do find it helps to fill me up, if you think of it logically a pint of water weighs 1.04lbs, as such it is going to fill you up if you drink enough of it. Sometimes I over do the drinking and i can feel it in my kidneys that they are probably a little "over flushed" and haven't got the usual electrolites n nutrients in but thats getting a bit technical :D

Putting it simply, it does help with losing weight, it does make you feel better and improves skin and hair condition - who doesn't want great shiny hair?!

How much are you drinking currently? I find having a sports cap bottle of 500 ml hanging around reminds me to drink and then I know exactly how much I have had. But when I am at work I have a guinness pint glass at the ready xx

Back to the matter of bean burgers lol - sure they would be really easy to make your own but for a quick meal and on offer worth the syns. Ended up having huge salad instead of beans lol. Am going to try the mushroom burger (less syns) in a few days but tomorrow fancy making huge vat of super speed soup - stocked up on loads of veg and planning on getting up early to prepare ingredients before work.

Mmmm mushroom burger? Sounds interesting! Bought or made?

Bought from Tesco's vegelicious range - they were on offer 2 packs for £2 so I bought the bean and the mushroom. Like the bean and will let you know what the mushroom is like - maybe on menu tomorrow x

Mmmm very yummy love Cajun spice.

Made the super speed soup tonight - makes loads and loads - is now 2 containers full in fridge and big one in freezer. Think I might experiment with some spices to give it bit of a kick - thinking chilli flakes or Tabasco - what do you think??

I would defo put in some chilli! Did you blend it or keep it chunky? You could put some cooked pasta shapes and herbs in one portion or chicken/quorn pieces. Or curry powder. Or lentils. Nom nom nom. Let me know what you do! I made it before, haven't in s while though xx
