Yeah I know, but I don't think I do a lot to be honest. I do zumba (45 mins) Monday, swim before aqua class on a Tuesday (45 mins), zumba Wednesday (45 mins) and a swim a some point in between. I don't always stick to the same routine but if you add all that up it only comes to 2.25 hours a week. Sometimes do zumba on Thursday but not always. I would never ever tell you to shut up Shanny, all opinions are welcome in my book :) but they recommend 20 mins a day anyway, 45 x3 times a week shouldn't be too much. What do you think?

Edit - looked on myfitnessplan and my exercise minutes the last 7 days has been just over 4 hours :)
 
20 mins a day exante advise so why u doing more?? :) I never did any exercise on cd in 2009... I did once on the higher plans.

I suppose you know your body better than anyone else.. :) when I do Zumba I can burn around 300-450 cals in an hours class. U may feel your not working so hard but when u add up how much calories u are burning loads..! Do u realise this?
 
:) of course I realise I am losing cals, but Shanny I have certain health issues which mean I cannot EVER exercise my stomach muscles ie. crunches, weights, running, rowing or anything which involves straining my stomach or pelvic floor. I don't therefore want to end up with a thin body and my stomach big and fat and flabby, I really need to try and tone as I go along. There is a reason why I do it - honest :)
 
Thanks though for thinking about me. I hope me and you have been on this journey long enough to be able to help each other out :) I will take on board what you've said though, I promise.

I think the main thing is is that I pay £33 a month for the gym and don't want to waste it hahahahah x

Just the usual - work, gym and home. Didn't do too much at the gym tonight, only swam 20 lengths before the aqua class. Sitting with my first warm banana shake now and not gonna be long out of bed. Just got my new phone today - Samsung SII so that's gonna take a few days (months lol) to work out hahaha. Not the most technical person in the world me !!!!
 
Dear me, 3 weeks since my last diary entry :eek: Doesn't time fly when you're having fun !!!!

Well, still losing very slowing compared to others. Some weeks I do 5 days at the gym, some 3 so not hammering the gym and exercising too much. I only lost 9lb last month which is a big disappointment for me. Still, I'm still here, still 99% TS and trying my best. In the 11's now and missed out on hitting my 2 stone mark on Thursday by 1lb - lol 1 little pound haha. Hope to hit my 2 stone this week so all I can do is hope, it's not like I can cut back on anything now is it?
 
Really enjoyed my swim this afternoon. For the first time I did my 2 mile. 180 lengths non-stop and felt great for it. Had already parked my car at work and walked to and from the town centre (whilst walking round the shops for 2 hours too :)). Bought a nice size 14 dress from River Island which is still a bit tight across the bust but gonna keep it for 28 days and see if it fits any better then. I know I don't lose loads of weight, but I am still dead motivated and determined. Gonna rest tomorrow and maybe my daughter will run after me (lol big laugh :D). Happy Mother's Day to all mammy's out there :D

Thank you. My photo was taken on my birthday night out in February. We started at more or less the same weight and have the same goal. I've put my goal at 10.7 but really wanna be in the 9's so when I get to 10.7 I'll change it hahahaha. Good luck, I'm sure we will get there xx

Yeah and we've both had a few cracks at this :) really hope this is it now :) bring on the 9s :)
 
Another 100% day :) Feeling good about it at the minute and really hoping for a good loss on Thursday. Feel it would motivate me a bit more coz tbh I'm getting a bit tired of putting loads of effort in and getting very little weight loss back out of it. Hoping for 4lb.

Been to the gym and did a zumba class. She's changed the tunes/routine and didn't really enjoy it. Swim and aqua class tomorrow and zumba again on Wednesday. WI Thursday ....... bring it on lol

Didnt go to aqua class last night, didn't feel too good at all. Once I got home I was glad I didn't go either. I was sooooo tired I don't think I could have jumped around like an idiot for an hour :).

Zumba booked for tonight but doesn't start til 7.30 p.m. Dunno about anyone else but I think it's too late. I am usually just getting settled down at 7.30 p.m. so having to leave the house at 7.00 p.m. to go and do a class just doesn't appeal to me.

It's my WI tomorrow so don't know if I will go to zumba or not. It might just make me lose another pound (lol, I wish).
 
hi miriam , hey your doing so well , 30 pounds lost already thats great , well for me i've been diet messing and i have had a wake up call to come back and give it my all sake of my knees , my weight is at an all time high now ... hip hurts and ready today , love to be able to do work out but joints are playing up due to weight . I have a mix of vlcd so will be round for say 7 months if i'm 100% ouch .
So your off to Turkey soon by looking at your ticker ?
you say small loses but your getting results ! Must feel amazing. how are you ?
 
Hiya Jackie, nice to see you. Oh you don't sound in a good way, get into the diet and lose a bit weight and it will do you the world of good. Easier said than done I know but you know you can do it.

I love the gym although I only do Zumba classes, aqua and swimming. I split my head last night and have got a couple of staples in so cant swim for 8-10 days which I am gonna miss :(

Once you have lost a bit you can ease yourself into exercise gently.

My losses are small, been on it 11 weeks now and only lost 30lb, but I have no intentions of coming off, I will stick it till the end this time.

Yes, Turkey in August - can't wait :)

Glad you are back in the frame of mind and hope the next time we talk you are in the zone and have lost a few pound :D

Yes a work out once i lose i want to start brisk walking as for now my hip hurts , hey i went to meet a new CDC near me last night , as BMI is too high now she is writing to medicla team and next week i will find out if i can join .... its odd because they say if a CDC has a BMI over 28 they can't be a CDC , well there is one in my town she has put loads on size 26 was now 22 she is and still a CDc she is on the web site i noticed she was taken off and now back but i thought one rule for one one rule for another ...
ho yes i read you had hurt your head on the handle of the sun bed well tell them you will take further action unless you get some free sessions lol
shame as you can't swim now too , hope you told them all this , what will happen now against them ? i know you picked up your gooles and stood up and the handle got you ... i think it was ok until you was told you've got a hole in your head then it really sets in ! i think i'd be shaking too .
Yes i am hoping to return on CD all depending now what the out come is .

My son is thinking Bodrum but keeps changing his mind its for may the 19th
