It's a good book :)

Just popped in seeking inspiration, as I'm doing with lots of diaries at the moment, but HAD to congratulate you on a 4lb loss, Well Done! And for resisting the cake - even better!!!

Thanks Roz V!!! xxx

I've decided to say a big hello to you and many other who have inspired me to do my own diary and most importantly be honest even when i've gone over my syns.....quire liberating actually.

Wanted to say you've done fantastically and you diary has inspired me to put a few more Red days into my plan not only for a change but feeling bloated when I eat too much Pasta and Rice.

Will post more often if that ok.....check out my diary to see what you make of my days if thats ok.

Wishing you loads of luck for the rest of your journey.

Hi Claire,

Please feel free to comment at any time, Its nice to read that I am helping others with my ramblings! Lol. I will certainly have a look at your diary too. :)

Well...Daughter had a sky high temperature last night and was delirious. Her lips were blue and her teeth were chattering and although she complained of being cold, she was scolding to the touch :( she spent the night in my bed, which meant that once again I didnt get very much sleep, but I was more worried about her. She got up this morning as if nothing had happened and was in a fantastic mood ..me...well Im exhausted to the point of wanting to go home from work now and bury my head under the pillows...Im working this evening until 1am too :sigh::cry:

19/03/10 - EXTRA EASY DAY

I would imagine lack of sleep and being so over tired would not help with eating too
I hope works ok and that you get a better night sleep tonight. Kids can seem so poorly one minute and scare us half to death then right as rain the next minute...the joys of being a parent, nothing prepares us for it tough.
Hope she's still ok this evening and has a better night too.
My lad is 13 and has 2 friends over to sleep, don't imagine them sleeping til early hours as they've gone through my weeks supply of diet coke already lol
xx

Thanks Jaylou, Daughter is much better now..not sure what had happened there.

Went to the gym yesterday in my lunch break...ok it was only for 30mins, but I figure that something is better than nothing!! Climbing Snowdon at the weekend...I just hope the weather holds out, otherwise I am not climbing at all! Rain I can handle, its the -4 wind chill factor that Im unsure of!

Hope weather stays dry and mild for the weekend for you.
Were going to the Lakes at the end of may and I told my hubbie last night that I want to do one of the wainwright walks....this is a big thing for me as I have permenant damage to my sciatic nerve following a screwed up back op 2 1/2 yrs ago. Make the best of things but do have trouble walking for long distances and can't use left foot properly.....I'm determined not to give up and really want to give it a go so fingers crossed.
Any tips welcomed
x

The biggest advice I can give to you Hun, would be to invest in a decent pair of trekking/hiking boots, especially if you have back problems (my Hubby has a trapped sciatic nerve and has had numerous issues). I would also consider trekking poles as a sort of walking stick for you. Coming down from Scarfel last year I needed them!!
Make sure that you have Green Days when you are walking as the carbs will release energy slowly. Take dried fruit, bananas, nuts, a couple of snack mars bars and plenty of water, along with the essential emergency kit, blanket and compass and map (you never know). The food, although not SW friendly is there in case you get peckish. I found that a handful of peanuts and 1 funsized mars bar was enough for me and I drank gallons of water. I had a 2lb loss that week too!
Its fun, enjoy and take things easy, just remember its not a race and there is plenty to see when you are rambling!

Morning all!!

Well Hubby has some serious sucking up to do after last night's snoring! Even through his mask! Grrrr!
To top it all off, he kept tapping me on my head!

I lost 0.5lb last night, which considering I was bloated and its my totm is a miracle, so Im pleased...I should threaten with chocolate fudge cake more often! I havent eaten any by the way!
Gym again today and Im looking forward to it..again only 30mins, but it really makes me feel great.

Hi Simmy,
Yes I used lamb mince and I bought it from Asda. I know that you are supposed use extra lean mince, but after the meat has been put in the blender, then sealed in the pan AND then in the oven, it looses all the fat from it anyway.
