My 128 lb Drop Diary [WEEK 67]

Amazing weightloss! It's so encouraging to see you can still get losses like that even months down the line. Well done!

It's because I've done it fairly slow and patiently, results still reflect the amount of effort put in :)

And I did try super hard this week!

Well done, Alex, you're doing so well!! :) xx

Thanks Tracy! Still feels like there's a lot of work left to do, but I'm 60% through now, I'm past the hardest part!

Alex, I've no doubt whatsoever that you'll get to your target, your determination is so good. I'm on a restart from tomorrow after a week's holiday, with the aim of getting my last stone off by Christmas! :) xx

Wow! Alex that's a fantastic loss! Your hard work is paying off and you so deserve this!

Loving your new profile pic and Tracy you are looking fab in our new profile pic too! I also just got back from holiday and aiming to officially restart tomorrow. Though i am not stuffing myself either today!:)

Thanks Kira! Good luck with your restart too!

Thanks, Alex and Kira! I've had a naughty week, as planned, lol. Apart from Christmas, this is usually the only full week I have off work all year, so I set myself a calorie budget (sad accountant!), and made the most of it!! :) xx

Awesome! Nothing wrong with planning weeks off.

Here's something I want to share.

Since I started I've kept a log of every single weigh-in. It's interesting reading it for me, I can almost remember every single weigh-in because of it. It's nice just to keep a log though!

My plans for this week are to keep it very strict. I want to lose 3lbs. To get into the 16st's would be AMAZING. If I work out at least three times this week, and keep my diet fresh and within 1800, I can do it. I will weigh myself on Thursday to check how I am doing, if I am doing bad then I will go 100% for the final days to try and do it!

I'm helping someone move furniture into their house on Wednesday, that should burn a few calories. Plus a few games of football with my friends will do me some good! Here we go Week 45, I hope you're ready for me!

I like how you also did the total for each month which when you look at it and over time how it adds up made me just now stop feeling a bit upset because I only lost 7.8lbs in a month. I'm glad you posted that. Thanks!

I only lost 5.4 in August, then lost 5.4 in the first week of September! Funny how it goes!

As long as I lose weight every month I don't care, if you weigh less then you did a month ago, it is a success.

You've got such a healthy way of looking at things REV! I love reading your posts :)

Hah thank you :)

I'm just excited to be in great shape a few months from now :D For the first time ever.

I love your spreadsheet! And that you're so close to your main 2013 target ... And yet we're only in September! Good job.

Yeh I hope to achieve that goal this week, 2.8lbs loss should be easy if I try hard enough.

So I will be far and beyond 238 by the end of the year. 17 weeks left this year, if I average 2lbs a week then I will weigh 206lbs  Which is 14st 10lb, that would be incredible.

That would be good! And then only 16lbs from your core goal ...wow-freaking-za. How good does that make you feel? Although I'm 99% sure your success is down to your determination and willpower, 1% of me is hoping that its down to your environment and that there's something in the water ... Cos that'd mean I'd be drinking it too! ;-) ah, if only. Well done fellow west-sussexer.

It's a great feeling, I find it hard to believe that I've come this far. Just because I was (and still kinda am) the laziest person on the planet. I never believed I could do this before, but this time it's for real.

Determination has been a big factor, I was just tired of living in an obese body. This is the only human body and life I will ever have, I don't want to live that life in a body I hate.

But it really hasn't been that hard. Setting realistic goals, being smart with my calorie intake and doing some research on water weight. It was never a temporary change, this is permanent. I don't call it weight loss, I call it preparation for the rest of my life!

Haha yes, Sussex all the way!

Love the spreadsheet cos' I have one too!! Mine includes a daily weigh on it! Very sad I know!

Alex I think your determination but realistic approach has almost made what you've done seem like not a diet an I diet if you like. Clearly you've had calorie deficit but you haven't deprived yourself or done a fad diet which ends up for most of us being feeling we've failed because it's not sustainable. You will definitely sail through maintenance as you've learnt about what will cause a gain and what won't and already you know how to adjust what and how much you eat.

Yoummake it sound effortless!
