My Blue Jeans Dukan Mission...

Day 56 PP

well I wrote yesterday off in terms of baking..had an awful stomach & think my day before binge caught up with me me...didn't manage walk or cooking or water...rubbish rubbish rubbish....right let's be positive...I only have nearly 7lbs to go until conso....I do really have to ramp up the exercise, because don't get me wrong, I am ecstatic that I have lost 17lbs, but I am in no way shape or form toned or confident in terms of let's be honest here girls, stripping off, or put politely, being bikini ready......so focus this week will be exercise....right

D stewed beef with dukan bread
S choc sponge & sugar free sweets

Day 58

Yesterday was the first day I didn't post and for a very good reason....IVE TOTALLY LOST THE PLOT....Dukan gang I need your support and advice....for the last 2 days it's been like the Dukan has not existed :( I know I'm still not well physically, but that is in no way an excuse for my behaviour....I have started to binge (secret eating like I used to) and I just can't get my mojo back....I am terrified of going on the scales even though I really need to, to see the damage, and I'm just feeling guilty and revolting & would hate more than anything to see all of my hard work go down the pan. Again.

I'm off work today, so going to have a cup of tea & dukan sponge & have a read of all your diaries in an effort to get my head back to where it was...

Oh i feel for you so much, i havent fallen off yet but i feel really poop at the moment! to be fair on yourself you have been pretty sick so dont beat yourself up to much. I would do 2 days off attack so that you see a nice loss again and it gets your back on the road! xxx

THANK YOU mad....you have definitely made me man-up a bit & think in the grand scheme of things I couldn't have gained back 17lbs.....will be back at ya tomorrow....hope your doing great..will stalk your diary now :)

Don't be too hard on yourself, you've not been well and I don't think many people could stick to this if they were sick. It's not the easiest diet in the world, especially with all the food prep you usually do.
You know you can do it so its not worth falling off the horse completely, just remember how you felt before Dukan and if your anything like me you don't ever want to feel like that again
If you weigh and see a gain will it make you more determined to lose it or think blow it il have a mars bar? I personally would wait until next week or until you have been back on it for a week then weigh. You might see a bigger loss, if you have gained it won't be loads anyway

thank you so much tuula....,everything you have said is right & needed to be said to me :) I still feel awful, my ears & throat are so sore but it's not coming to a head...just staying there..it's so annoying because compared to my OH I'm literally never ill!!! So I'm not used to feeling under the weather...I'm panicking also because in 11 days I'm going away with OH for 2 nights for his birthday & on the 1st November I'm out with my girlies for a promotion celebration, so my social calendar is now filling up because I thought I would nearly be at my target by then.....
But thinking about it before I got sick, I was slacking on the exercise, a lot, so my plan is 5 days PP, then making a nice big chicken dinner on Sunday so I can have my veggies :) & exercise every day no excuses, no matter how sick I'm feeling...
I will take your advice & not weigh now til Sunday morning.....thanks again..xxxxxxxxxx

Hey all....feeling better guys..thanks for asking...I'm not 100% but think that's cos I've had a spell away from dukan....plus I've just done two 12 hour shifts so haven't had time to post..but back at it now...going to treat it one day at a time...gym induction tomorrow...finally...

BACK IN THE GAME PEOPLE!!!! Went for my gym induction....did an hour and omg!!! If there's anything to drag me out of my lethargy is exercise & the foo fighters....what a combo...feel back to my fighting dukan self....came back & made sausages & choc sponges....I'm on fire!!!! Thank god... It's been a week and a half of awfulness

Day 63 PP

Going to do 3 days PP, then weigh...I have no idea what I weigh and am dreading it but will hop on tomorrow. No point kidding myself. Gonna get up & get back on. Felt really good to be back in the gym, although the bloke going to do my induction didn't turn up, so I just gone on with it....press the green button was basically my technique ;) feeling good today....thank god I'm back

B porridge
L ham & 1 babybel omelette
D 4 sausages
S choc sponge 2 slices

1.5 water & 3 cups of tea
gym :)

DAY 64 PP

Weighed & gained 2.4 plus the 0.2 from week before gives me a grand total of gaining 2.6lbs in 2 weeks. Gutted, yes. Expected, yes. Glad it wasn't more, yes. Well my initial true weight date of 23rd October, erm that's 10 days is looking laughable, but there we go. I was feeling rough and there is my outcome. Onwards and downwards. Off today so going to put a mountain of washing away, then my 30 min walk in the pouring rain. No time for the gym. Not aching too much today from the gym, which is good, cos I really pushed myself...

Day 64 PP

good hill walk, in the rain I may add!! And lots of cooking & cleaning too....ok I've done something controversial in the dukan world...I added a tin of chopped tomatoes to my 'pp' day!! I'm so sick of my bolognese minced beef being so dry on pp days, so I thought well tomato purée is a tolerated item, and the chopped tomatoes make 4 portions, so it's 1/4 of a tin of chopped tomatoes, I doubt it will make a difference, but it's a risk I'm willing to take for a bit of moisture!!!

lol at moisture! Funnily enough it was always CRUNCH that I missed on a PP day (tending to go for salmon and prawns myself those days!).

Last of my 3 PP days today. Making cottage pie later for my PV tomorrow & fit steps class later.

Ah bless you....I'm so glad I'm back too!!! When I was off here & ill & bingeing I was thinking of you, thinking oh no..I've left madmission all on her own :0 seriously reading your diary keeps me going :)

right dukan quiche And the word quiche is obviously used loosely.......3 eggs beaten, then add 1/2 tub of fat free cottage quiche with onions & chives and beat with eggs......I use a Pyrex oval dish......cut 4 slices of ham in little pieces......place them in the Pyrex dish and pour over the egg & cottage cheese mix, oven 180c for 25 mins or golden brown on top, I also use bacon or cooked sausage sliced up...
