My Countdown - 20 Weeks to go!

Yes it is!! I lost 4 st in 12 weeks first time round it's absolutely do able :D
 
Yes I was super good, I never deviated once, even in Florida for 2 weeks I only had chicken. I was so big I was desperate!
 
That's dedication! I've got Florida in 4 weeks time, I no I won't stick to plan!! I'm only going for one week so will come off plan and straight back on it when I'm back!! Xx

I couldn't do it again now, he'll I can't even get through one week at home so 2 in Florida no way. The reason I managed was because one of the girls I went with was doing LL at the time so I had company.
 
I kind of wish I had a diet buddy, at the minute only a few people know I am on CD again. I don't want to tell anyone until I can actually see decent weight loss. Also, by telling people I kind of feel I have expectations to live up to and thats when I rebel!

My mums doing it with me, but she's hardcore and sticks to it completely, I wish I could be like her but I'm weak. No-one else knows I'm doing it.
 
i'm on my own. for me it's easier. some people know that i'm back on it. haven't really discussed it with anyone else except on here.

Ah thanks Nikki! I like being able to come on here and confess all, I dread the day somebody clicks I am on here and reads my heart to hearts. Like when my sister did! Eek!

I am so fed up with the scales not moving, another good day in the bag. 2 litres, 3 coffees, a porridge, a tetra and a bar. So why aren't the scales moving? Tonight I was 1lb up on my Monday weigh in, how can this be? I'm checking with a ketostix every day and I have remained in ketosis. Honestly, what is going on?

My hands and feet are ridicuosly cold, I am getting pins and needles in both my hands and feet. Wondering whether my circulation isn't great?

Don't really know what to do, I'm sticking to CD better than I ever have but getting worse results. I need advice! Could it be that my metabolism is stunted? Would going up to 810 boost my metabolism? I'm basically on SS+ as I have milk in my 3 coffees and have a couple of slices of chicken each evening to nibble on when I'm cooking scott's tea (40kcals).

I just don't understand? How can I be in ketosis, and on 650kcals a day and not be losing weight?

I don't want to break the run I am on, as I'm not sure I would be able to get back into it again. Oh well, I guess we'll see what Monday brings and then I'll have a chat to my CDC.
 
Keep your chin up Hun, I had a really rough stretch like this and I just gave up and as a result I'm STILL having to do this diet, whereas if I'd just stuck with it I'd be at target by now for sure.

Stick with it, see what happens on weigh day and of you're still not happy see what your CDC says.

One thing I was thinking about the other day was that the first time round on CD we had to do 810 every 5th week, now it's every 13th week. I think it should be every 5th week so your metabolism has to work harder. All the research (and I've looked into it a lot) seems to suggest that by doing this it shocks the metabolism back into action after a period of it slowing down. It's how they do it on Biggest Loser, every few weeks they increase their cal in take from 1200 to speed their metabolism back up again.

I don't know if it's any help but it's what I'm going to do this time round, to see if it works again.

But stick with CD Hun, it is the answer or I wouldn't keep coming back to it xxxx

the scales are not moving for me either. been trying to stick to it. feel so hungry tonight so i'm eating another bar. 4 cd products on the 810 instead of 3 so up to 984 cals today on the 810..... crazy. been so cold too. think i need a visit to tescos for some gum, i ran out tuesday :(
 
p.s mind i did core then zumba so i think 600 cals gone on exercise, i feel that i can give myself a rest for the extra carbs and bar.

the running part would equate to 6 miles
 
apparently it states that you burn fat and develop lean muscle mass.....
 
And that's why I love and miss zumba :( I can't have chewing gum I find it makes me starving hungry, my mum swears by it though. My stomach thinks it's getting food because my mouth is chewing but then when it doesn't it turns on me and rumbles and grumbles, I'm better if I give it a miss.
