Yeah, I'm on that thread. I dunno, sometimes joining a challenge seems to make my weightloss worse :eek:

(Not the stuffing my face with crisps... )

Unfortunately my throat HASN'T stopped me eating! I am a medical marvel.

Need to batch cook some soups and curries too, but BLAH to that... I. DON'T. WANT. TO.

And have a LOT of fruit that has gone off, which I need to chuck.

So basically I need to get myself sorted out, do a proper food shop, and spend a day cooking rather than feeling sorry for myself while wactching The Chase and Celebrity Tipping Point.

Drop zone 3 please...
 
Hi coughdrops :wavey:, I hope your doing well. Sounds like your focus will be right back on with a good food shop :p. I was just curious, why did you mention the challenges make your weightloss worse ?

Ah, the challenges don't really make me worse, it's more like I sign up to one and then I go off plan. Purely a coincidence, I am sure! (or a willpower-meltdown ;))

and I am so blasé about it all, I need a smack round the head.

Really I should bricking it, and wishing I had been better all week. (or, to be fair, all of January!) But I'm not.

Bet it'll change when I am waiting to hop on scales.

I am so meh, I've no idea where I put my weigh in clothes. If I can't find them... well then any gain I have is obvs cos of the uber-heavy pants I am wearing.
 
My husband is now humming The Final Countdown and has no idea why... I may have been whistling it out loud when he wandered in here a while ago

Sorry to hear about your gain coughdrops . 1.5lbs on is not so bad. I'm sure that's spurred you to get back on it this week. Fingers crossed for you that you have a fab loss next week hun :).

Day 162 to be precise.

I didn't count that up, google told me.

Anyway 161 days or 23 weeks later, whatever spin you want to put on it. Just under 1lb a week average, not too shabby I guess, but definitely not where I should be by now!

And so we begin again.

Breakfast
Coffee 1/2 syn for milk
1 banana
1 Ryvita from Hex B.

Aim: 2 lites of NAS orange by lunchtime.
Result: peeing all day.
 
Hi coughdrops, just a quick question, do you not use your milk allowance from the healthy ex a's ? :)

Hi Kay

No, I syn my milk because I don't use enough to make up a full Hex A. I use my Hex A for cheese.

I used to count the little milk I use as Hex A, but realistically I was only using a small amount. I'd measure out my 250mls and might only use 100. I switched to cheese, and noticed that I get better losses when I use my full Hex A and B.


(when I am sticking to plan that is!)
 
oh ok that makes sense. Thanks for the tip Coughdrops ! I am a huge cheese lover myself and don't use too much milk in my coffee, so might do that swap myself :D .

Satsuma
Syn free yogurt

Aim: 1 or more litres of
NAS orange by 7pm
(any later I'll be peeing all night!)



Mid afternoon coffee 1/2 syn

Dinner
Sw curry with pork peppers onion
Brown rice
Aldi Greek yogurt
Pint of NAS orange

3 syns on sweets

4 syns in total, BUT I didn't eat the rest of my HEX A so I need to syn that Babybel I had at lunchtime. Not sure what they are, but I'd loads left to spare.

Day 163

It's amazing how ONE good day can put you back on track.

The last few days I've really noticed it's getting brighter in the mornings and not getting dark as early at night, so hoping that I am coming out of hibernation and my January Grump.

Today I am planning on low syns all day, but tonight we're going away for the weekend. I think we'll be eating dinner on the road, so God knows what I'll end up with. I don't get too annoyed if I go off plan when we're out and about, cos it's not very often we get to eat out. I'll just make the best of it (and enjoy!).

Tonight we'll be having a few drinks, which won't be synned.

Tomorrow we're out with friends most of the day/night. Again I'll just do what I can!

Sunday, we'll be coming home, so back on track 100% from Sunday evening - Wed W/I should level it all out.

Breakfast
2 Ryvita from Hex B
1 banana
1 coffee 1/2 syn

Trying to stick at my 2 litres of NAS before lunch. Half way through it already, BUT I came to the end of the squash bottle, so it's more watery than normal and I'm not feeling it.

Lunch
Jacket potato 1.5 syns
baked beans

Hi coughdrops, I planned my low syn day today which ended in 12.5 syns :p, yours has gone super well in comparison. I'm guessing that because dinner isn't listed :D. Hope you have a fab weekend !
