My Diary

Just popping in to say a big well done on your 7lb loss! That's a fantastic kick-start to the new year :)
How's your weekend been? Hope it's been a good one both in dieting terms and otherwise! All quiet here - it's snowing now so I'm hibernating ;)

Hello mrs :)

Hope ya well! Wooop on the 7lbs :)

Keep at it hun! Dont let the halo slip!

Xx.

Hope your awol ness has sorted itself out and you are doing ok. Xx

Doing fine, thank you ladies. Weighed in this morning-another 3 pounds off which is fabulous considering the weekend I had. Obviously keeping up the walking does allow a little leeway on the food front. Not that I'll be counting on that! Hope all is well with everyone else,

Goodness I haven't posted here for ages! I have refound my lost mojo and am really enjoying diet and exercise. I lost 2 this week and as I only really rediscovered myself on Saturday I'm quite pleased? That takes me to 12 lost for the month, I am going to weigh in again on Thursday for the end of the month, I'd love to have lost another 2 in 2 days to take it to a round stone but it's unlikely. No harm in trying though!
So here are the goals for the near future. My wee nephew is being christened on 24th Feb so I'd like another 10 pounds off by then. It will be a push as it's 3 weeks this Sunday but I'll count this week's 2 so that leaves 8 which I think should just about be manageable. That would make me 14 stone 4. Then 6 weeks after that my sister in law is getting married, another 10 before that would be great leaving me at around 13 1/2 which would be wonderful. I hope it all works out that way! There's nothing planned for the next while which would scupper my plans except this weekend. My wee son who is 10 gets the results of his transfer papers this Saturday which will decide which school he moves on to in September. He did 5 papers over 4 Saturdays in November which will get him 2 separate results. Being Northern Ireland one mark is for one collection of schools (Catholic schools for the most part, it's a grade A, B etc) and the other is for another collection of schools and it will be a number. Anyway, his BIG treat, as requested by him, is to have cheesy chips from the chippy on Saturday night and for Mummy to have them too! So I will, it's a once in a life time and probably the most important exams he'll ever do and he only gets this once chance. He needs an A to get him in to the same school as his brother so fingers crossed! Anyway, I will make allowances this week so that I can have those chips without too much guilt and I'll make sure there's plenty of exercise to go with it.
Hope all is well with everyone,

With garlic sauce, Rach! He has Coeliac disease so has more than his fair share of things to deal with and he would just love a big Domino's pizza but he just can't so cheesy chips is the next best thing (apparently). Feeling good still today although said small son has a sore throat and is off school. I always find it much harder when I'm stuck at home not to pick through the cupboards but I have resisted so far and it will soon be lunchtime.

How about making hima pizza on a large homemade potato base. It's actually quite nice it's like a big potato cake but obviously if you make it yourself with mashed potato egg and a bit of butter you get to control the gluten

Thanks for that, Kat. he does get pizza as he gets bases on prescription and we have tried potato bases too but it's not the same as how he remembers them from Dominos! That would have been his big treat before. Pizza Hut have started doing gluten free pizza which is very nice he says but we don't have one close by so we'll make do with our cheesy chips. Probably just as well cos once I start on pizza there's no stopping me!

Well done hun. That's a good loss for the month, bet your chuffed to bits with that.

Jealous on the cheesy chips.

So I had my cheesy chip last night and enjoyed every mouthful but did feel a bit sick after it,just not used to so much stodgy food. Anyway, back to it today, still very proud Mum and so relieved, his 2 results were so good that he'll get first pick of whatever school we fancy. Our choice is the one his brother is at and happens to be one of the highest performing schools in Northern Ireland so no complaints there! So unfair though to put them through it all at such a young age, he is young for his class so still only 10, such a little boy. Anyway, off out with the dog to try to minimise the damage,
