You should be able to upload a profile pic- I believe you have to have hit 50 posts before you are allowed that privelledge. You do it through User CP (but that's about as much as I know - not very tech minded)

I havent tried dating websites - not sure i could do that - although it has worked for some people - and i have no idea what Gingerbread is either.....
