My New Diary - green days

Hi everyone, I wanted to start a new diary to symbolise a fresh start. I've been a bit up and down the last few weeks, so I'm hoping a new diary might help. I'm following green days as I'm Vegetarian. My first goal is to get into the 9's, that would be a huge achievement for me ! I don't really have a goal date, as long as I'm continually improving my health then I'll be happy :)

Tuesday

I've used today as a bit of a practice day to get back into Slimming World. I've only had one out of two of my Healthy Extra B's (4 Ryvita), so I need to make sure I get two in the future. I've had my Healthy Extra A (2 Lightest Philadelphia mini tubs), and 10 syns :)

Perfect! I had four today so I will consider them my HEXB! I'm pretty pleased with that!

I'm looking forward to reading your food diary as a vegetarian too! Hopefully it'll give me some inspiration on some new recipes! :eat:

I love Ryvita, they are really handy to take to work. I try to have them instead of bread. I'm not very enthusiastic about cooking, but I try my best :) I have a Slimming World green days recipe book, so I'd like to give a few of those recipes a go :)

I've bought one of the SW green days recipe books as well - I'm keen to start trying to cook as well! I have to admit, I struggle to motivate myself to cook sometimes but the recipes look amazing so I'm going to start!

Have you tried any already?

I'm the same. I've never been someone who spends much time in the kitchen. I have made a stew from my book. I made enough to freeze some and also whizzed some up into a thick soup. It was really nice ! :) I do need to take some time and try out some other recipes though.
 
I also wanted to add that I'll be drinking lots of water everyday and sometimes drinking peppermint tea :)

I think I'm doing ok, but I do need to start planning some better meals for the evenings.
