My New Diary - green days

Going to buy some green tea today. I normally drink peppermint, but I thought I'd try something new:)

I will write some proper food diaries once I'm more on top of things (I've got quite a lot going on right now). I'm just entering my Healthy Extras and Syns at the moment, which helps me know where I am each day :)
 
Morning, I'm trying to think of some new breakfast ideas. I've always loved various different cereals but I'm trying to cut my intake of sugar (which I know certain cereals have a lot in). I don't eat eggs and I'm not fussed about toast. I'm probably looking at just fruit, do other people find this satisfying ? Which fruits work together ? I'm not sure if I'll find fruit satisfying during the winter ??

Do you like porrige? If you add fruits / spices (e.g., apple & cinnamon, banana & cardomon/nutmeg, blueberries) I think it makes it sweet enough withou sugar / sweetners.


Or you could cook some quorn sausages / bacon with mushrooms, tomatoes, & beans (assuming you have enough time to cook!)

If I have fruit in the morning I tend to eat it with ff yogurt to make a bit more filling. Adding a few nits (hexB or syn) makes it more substantial.

If I think of any more ideas I will let you know.

Thanks for the advice Emmster ! :) I might get some of the porridge oats in the sachets (would this count as a healthy extra b ?)

I also really like the idea of having some nuts with fruit and yogurt in the morning. I'm going to get some almonds later, my favourite :)

Just having a Berocca Boost (0.5 syns). I struggle with my energy levels, so I find these really helpful. Especially when I have to work late like tonight :(
 
Thursday

Breakfast - Berocca Boost (0.5 syns), wholemeal roll, baked beans, 2 veggie sausages

Lunch - 4 Ryvita, 2 philly light mini tubs, cucumber, grapes, apple crisps (3.5 syns)

Snack - Grapes, cereal bar (3.5 syns)

Dinner - 2 veggie sausages, new potatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, salad cream (2 syns)

Other - Water, green tea

Healthy Extra A - 2 Lightest Philadelphia mini tubs

Healthy Extra B - Small wholemeal roll
Healthy Extra B - 4 Ryvita

Syns - 9.5

Does anyone have any idea how many syns these would be ? I've worked them out as 3.5 syns going by the calories, but the only ingredients are apple and concentrated lemon juice, so would that mean that they are free ?? It also says they are 'air-dried', so not fried or baked in oil.
