today has been another good day and i will update my food diary in morning.. havent been anywhere near the scales since mondays WI which is much better for me as normally i hop every day!!
I know the scales are not gonna move as quickly so gonna try very hard not to go near them till My official WI on monday 5th ...

good luck, Vale. You're doing great on the low carb plan! tbh ....I think losses of 2lbs/week can be achieved on other plans so it does make me wonder if VLCDs become less effective each time we do them - I certainly haven't had the same success as my first go at LL :(

Hiya hun.... i think ya bang on the nail there..... ive been doing my own thing now properly since Monday.... i couldnt resist the scales this morning and i was 13.06 so thats 5lbs down in as many days...

I havent starved or felt hungry at all... ive not drowned myself with 4L of water to keep hunger at bay and my bowels are working nicely again.

it will be interesting to see what the 4 weeks combined loss is having one exante pack a day and 2 low carb meals ....

I Had to change tracks Miss B partly cos of my pain and meds but also because i was starting to view food in a bad way.

Felling guilty and a failure from eating an apple is just not healthy in my mind..

I have spent weeks going without food with the VLCD and it was starting to make me see even healthy foods as the "enemy"..

i have not once thought about eating rubbish since Monday and that was a daily struggle for me when on TS... so i must be doing something right surely?

Im in NO way slating VLCD but i do know that its not for me anymore in the TS mode..
Im gonna keep doing my own WS version and see what happens xxx
 
Check you out, your doing a great job. Be careful with them apples tho chubs ;)

Its so hard isnt it at times...
I'm glad i decided to take a good look at the bigger picture cos i was sooooo miserable on TS.
Hope ya get it under control again soon Dusty.
I know my losses are gonna be slower than TS but i an live with that especially as they wasnt that quick on TS lol xxx

thats my point entirely Dusty... i was 100% TS and only losing 2lb or 3lb if i was lucky .. I kept falling off that pesky wagon by having the audacity to eat some fruit or a few veg.. So i thought sod it!!! im not happy and im sick of feeling like a failure.

My doctors advice was just the nudge that i needed .... no more VLCD wagon for me .. I didnt fall this time i CHOSE to JUMP and so far its the best decision i have made in a long time..
I actually dont care what the scales are saying anymore ..I have CHOSEN to no longer be a slave to them either...

Its been 5 days of great food choices without the pressure of worryiing about Keto or Gallons of water etc..

I totally take my hat off to the peeps on here that are doing the VLCD .... I think the other reason the choice i made was an easier one for me than many other people , is the fact that i have lost the bulk of my weight so i dont have the need to lose it ASAP anymore... Its a steady stroll for me dietwise now... no more sprinting and falling at the hurdles...Im on the home run if ya like and i have CHOSEN to take it at a slower pace..

Thanx Darlin ... for the first time in a year i am not STRESSING about the scales and dreading Monday WI's lol...

Your right it is working for me and the best thing about it, is that its sustainable in the long term too... No more drastic measures.. finally been able to accept and chose not to chase a quick weight loss anymore...

I would say that the best thing i got from doing TS was that it has given me the ability to make the choice to change xxx
 
Its saturday and i managed an evening out last night with no alcohol.. just didnt fancy drinking lol.
Green tea with lemon by tetly is my new vice!!! its actually nice ..
