oh my goodness ladies for the first time in 8 months i think i have officially fallen off plan with no medical reason or health problems or any reason other than this week i could just not be arsed. We've been sooooooo busy at work ive been missing meals so that by the time i got home ive been starving and instead of picking healthy options ive gone for carbs and well things that make you feel emotionally better but i am not quitting and tomorrow is a new day where i am hoping i can get back on track. My motivation hasnt faltered atall i am still very happy with the diet and i enjoy the shakes and my food choices think i just probably needed a break so christmas target definitely won't be achieved but i can still have lost 6st before christmas and well 6st in 9 months is just phenomenal.

Work as i said has been VERY busy but good busy we've had a lot of VERY poorly people coming through that take up a lot of time both physically and mentally but thats why I enjoy my job, I got into mental health nursing to help those who were unwell so it makes it all worthwhile even if it does make for a more stressful environment.

Ella's great at the min (touch wood) she's being a right lil cutie pie, sleeping well too for a nice change. This week has been my mums bday and MIL's bday, we went round to my mums on Tues after Ella had been on a steam train in Wales all day with mum and dad well in the evening we had a lil party and Ella sang happy birthday to my mum and then tonight it's MILs birthday but they live 60miles away well we rang them and Ella sang happy bday down the phone to MIL too it's been so lovely and she's been super cuddly too.

Hubby seems ok too although he's also been off his healthy eating but he doesnt seem as tired as he has been and i think his work's going ok so generally things are going well i just moved sideways for a lil bit haha

How is everyone else doing? Can you believe it's only 47 days til christmas wow!!!

47 days eek!

6st in 9 months is phenomenal! Xx

Welcome back! Sometimes you just need a break - and 6st is great!!!

Wow - less than 2 months to Xmas - I need to start shopping!!!!

Well i was right about falling off the wagon gained 4lbs when i got weighed on Sat so that means in the month of November I have so far managed to gain 5lbs lol been very good since though so i will hopefully lose the majority of that when i get weighed this week which means i could still achieve over 6st in 9months as long as i dont go astray anytime soon.

How is everyone else doing? xx

well ive lost 5st but im hoping i will have lost 6st by christmas or 6 1/2 if im very good :)

Yes Gem i am very much back here, had a successful 3rd day back on plan and according to my scales it does look like ive lost the weight I gained but when i get weighed on Fri it's an evening WI and i usually get weighed in morning so i know there'll be some water weight from the foodstuffs during the day but ultimately i should be lighter than i was on Sat lol

Woohoo my week back on track paid off lost 6lbs this week so im now 1lb lighter than i was 3 weeks ago YAY!!!!!

Yay Ninja! Well done for being back on track and for the weight loss!!!!

Thanks ladies, had a lovely day today been all crafty with Ella and it turned into her painting herself with glitter paint haha was very funny :) Nothing else planned this weekend, think we might do some baking tomorrow but see how we feel

Well its almost mid week again boy how time is flying, less than 5 weeks til christmas now eeek, still got lots of shopping to do just hope there's enough pennies to do it with lol.

Been a mediocre week diet wise, hada good few days but also a bad few days, hoping it'll even itself out by Saturday, its VERY cold today too and i seem to be enrgy zapped. Finished work at 4 on Mon and was asleep in bed for 6 and didnt wake til 7am following morning then woke with a stinking cold. Hoping for a 2lb loss when i get weighed this week then if i can lose 4 the week after ill finally be in the 16s woohoooo

How is everyone else getting on?

Good to hear from you and sorry that you have a cold...bummer! It is a lovely sunny day here, tho' not warm (but it is, after all, winter) and I'm amazed at how much a bit of sun can positively affect your mood! Need it tho- lot of work to do and little time to get it all done - trying not to go crazy by worrying about it.
Diet wise hanging in there. I've set a target of 3lbs from last weigh-in, but given how slow my body is letting go of the weight, we'll see how far I get. Lost nothing day 1, 0.5lb day 2 and, even tho' I ate less yesterday, gained 0.2 today. Grrrr! Had a bit less water yesterday, so am upping the intake today. And still have 4 more days to go, so we'll see.

You will be solidly in the 16s by Dec...and that's just around the corner! Yikes!

Hiya Tizzy, are you in Amsterdam still or are you travelling again for you to have sun? It's suddenly gone very cold over here, been below freezing last few nights but i quite like it when its cold but dry aside from the pesky sun gtn in your eyes when you drive.

Well had a lovely few days, been shattered with work but nothing new there, weigh in today and lost 3lbs so yayy that 5 1/2 stone and only 3lbs off those 16s yay yay yay oh and my work trousers are now a size 18, in March i was going to work in a 26 bottom!!!!!! Tops are officially 16s unless theyre a shirt and well id prob still be a 20 coz of rather large bosom, quite funny coz ive not really bought any nrew pjs coz well theyre for comfy clothes really arent they and well the last few weeks i keep waking up with my trousers almost round my thighs theyre that big or i wake with them twisted all the way round haha so i probably should invest in smaller ones lol

Been off work today and we did some more baking, very odd looking cake with bright green sponge, dark pink buttercream filling and bright orange iced top that ella covered in little sugar butterflies and chocolate beans and even though it's fat night (treat night) i'm full and won't be having any :)

In work tomoz til 9pm but i think my mum is coming round to help hubby out...we've attempted potty training with Ella and well she loves the potty but hasnt quite figured out to wee on the potty and not in her trousers then sit down on it after she's weed but im sure it won't take her long. Then im off on Mon and Ellas got a flu jab :( and hearing test then in work tues wed and thurs. Hubby and I are hoping to go out for a meal Fri night then on 13th Dec we're going to christmas markets in Manchester and i really cant wait, we've not been for a few yrs so we've both booked day off work, Ella will be in nursery and we will do a bit of last minute shopping :)

Hi Ninja - sounds like you have been busy and wow! amazing change in sizes! I started wearing some of my old, smaller t-shirts to sleep in when the larger ones started to fall off or shift around. That said, I need new PJs as well. I also need new workout clothes - the drawstrings on my workout bottoms are as tight as they can get and they're still large!

I'm in Amsterdam - we had a nice day when I last wrote - today it was cold and rained most of the day.

Hope you and Ella enjoy the rest of the weekend!

always busy here Tizzy comes part of the role of being a mum, wife and full time work but i do get bored very easily so it helps to stay busy and baking i find really relaxing, havent really done any since i was pregnant with Ella which is ashame coz ive ALWAYS loved baking so its nice to have the want to do it if that makes sense.

I threw out 3 bin bags on clothes to charity a few weekends ago, didnt think of kpn the t shirts as pyjama tops what a good idea but too late now lol I'm waiting for my winter coat to arrive too that should come in the next few days :)

Does it get particularly cold in Amsterdam? What are you plans for christmas? xx

I still have the bags of clothes, 4 large and 1 medium so far, cluttering up the hallway. Don't know why I haven't given them to charity yet - I do want to take a last look and dig out my largest pair of jeans to keep just for comparison.

Amsterdam tends to get the weather that over in the UK, but a day or two later. At the moment it is cold, but not dreadfully so given the time of year...tho' I think nowadays one can't really count on prior years weather patterns anymore.

For Christmas I was going to go to the US - my entire family gets together every year in a different city and celebrates over a weekend. However, one of my uncles just died of a stroke, so the family gathering has been cancelled. I will stay in Europe and work. No particular plans for the actual Christmas day - might have some friends round for dinner. Any exciting plans for you and your family?

Get those bags of clothes to charity!!!! Ive kept one pair of trousers from when i was my heaviest to remind me how big i was coz i do think people can become complacent and i dont want to slip into old ways.

Well today we've had a very busy day so far, Ella had hearing test followed by flu jab and she was very brave then hubby and i went to docs, me for my hip and hubby for a scab on his elbow that ive been worried could be cancerous and well its not its a repetitive injury from having his elbows on the desk all day at work and ive got to go for an x ray on my hip next wed before they can decide what to treat it with, if its arthritic i can have a cortisol jab in it to help with the pain and then i'll be able to do some physio coz at the min its hypersensitive. Then after Ella wakes from her nap i think we're going to be doing some crafts, either that or more baking hehe

Have done my first bit of baking since Feb - made a banana bread for someone in the office. It's his last week and he really loves them, so ....
Smell is driving me crazy - yum! But I can wait til after CD to enjoy banana bread...

its funny the smell of baking doesnt bother me i actually enjoy the smell reminds me of being a kid hehe. Hope you've had a lovely day xx

Happy weekend diary readers not that there's many lol.

Well it's a beautiful cold and crispy Saturday morning and i'm in work oh joy!!!!! On a plus side i'm only in til 4pm :)

Well yesterday was WI and ive lost another 3lbs which i'm very pleased with and I HIT THE 16S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cannot believe how much better i feel knowing im in the 16s!!!!! And im only 4lbs of 6 stone :-D

Had a lovely day yesterday, did most of my christmas shopping and then hubby took me out to my favourite chinese restaurant and i actually managed to stop eating when i was satisfied, first time ive ever been to a chinese restaurant and had food left over.

Not got a lot planned this weekend except i think im meant to be taking my mum shopping tomorrow but that'll depend on how well she is so i hope everyone has a lovely weekend :)

Sounds like you had a great weekend!!! And well done you on not eating all the Chinese food - it's tough sometimes having that much control. But you did it!!!!

I celebrated Thanksgiving this weekend, which involved 2 days of cooking, 2 days of Thanksgiving meals and loads of cleaning house/kitchen/etc. Am exhausted!!!
