My Weight Loss Diary (for the last time!)

Thanks for the tip jo! Xx

So today has been a lot better.

I managed to clean the bathroom, which was a victory in itself. Although I am now all shakey. But I still did it so yay.

Breakfast was some Marmite on Toast, although it was on white bread.
Lunch is a Pasta n Sauce.

Not sure what's for tea yet.

Still don't feel right but feel better than I did.

That's great news! I ended up having marmite on toast, love marmite!!!
Hope you feel more yourself tomorrow!

Thanks for all your lovely messages everyone :)
I'm layed in bed now thinking how lucky I am to have online friends like yous. I'd be totally off plan by now otherwise with not going to group for a couple of days.

So my left lung is absolutely killing today. Hoping I've just pulled it coughing or something.
Other than that and being ridiculously tired I've been loads better.

Starting back on plan 100% tomorrow. Feel like I'm well enough to start again now. Need to go food shopping though. Will have to drag the hubby tomorrow night, or just send him on the way home from work, lol

Other positives, I've not had to use my blue inhaler for 2 days now, and my peak flow has gone from 320 to between 400 and 500 over the past few days! Happy with that :) hopefully on the right track sorting it out now!

Night everyone hope you are all doing well :)

Hello, how are you doing now? I notice you were up in the night typing your last message on here!

I'm doing OK just really tired, like you said I was up until stupid time (4ish?) Cause hubby was watching Superbowl. His team were playing so had to watch.
Then the bloody cat woke me up at 6 45 and couldn't get back to sleep!

How are you doing x

You need to get lots of rest, maybe you'll sleep better tonight!
I'm very well thank you, had a scrummy dinner today, stir fry, so good and very low calories! I'm stuffed. Buzzing at the moment as I lost 2lbs this week. I'm trying to change my breakfast/lunches a bit more now as I do get accustomed to have same everyday!

Awesome! Well done on the loss!! :Do
I'm not hoping for a loss this week. A maintain would be good but I'm pretty sure I'll have put on! X

You have a good reason and you will be starting fresh now, it's not your fault you are poorly, just look at how much you lost and how much you enjoyed doing this plan! :)

Today not been very successful, mainly because we have literally nothing in the house. Going food shopping tomorrow.

Any cheap ideas for meals? So skint Fter holiday haha

I started off well, had porridge for brekkie and soup for dinner, then it went kind of..... off plan LOL

Need to kick my butt in gear. I'll be better when I'm back at work and the hubby is better too.

Hope you have all had a good day x

I look at what's cheap in the veg section at the supermarket and meal plan around those. Also the taco bean egg wrap thing I do is pretty cheap add you can double up on the tinned kidney beans and mixed beans throw some quorn in it and with a few eggs and salsa (maybe since rice is you fancy it) you have about 6 meals for under a fiver (depending on cost of cucumber tomatoes etc)

I find carrot and swede staple cheap veg to accompany meals. Both SF.

And then veg soups. I'm fed up of my usual leek and potatoe soup and instead having your BNS one instead.

Like on jacket spuds for the week lol there well cheap. I get the gammon joint aswell from Iceland think it's 4 quid you get loads.

Chicken fried rice - rice eggs Peas chicken
Pasta - chicken and veg
Chilli quite cheap if get big mince last two days.
Joints over two days have roast then rest with jacket.
Pasta and sauce

I always have stuff in to make the rice and pasta as it's cheap and quick

. Our bill used to be between 70/80 and would have loads for the week. Now I'm spending like 90 and ending up with chick rice haha. I'm not fussed tho cause I like it. My trouble is I have to get hubby and daughter seperate. She won't eat rice thinks it's snow and makes snow balls lol. If I get get pork chops for example we will eat she won't it's hard work. She isn't a fussy eater but pork can be abit chewy for a 2 year old can't it

Just chuck some bits together ul be fine lol

Thanks for the tips guys!! :D

I had a rummage through the freezer and cupboards today, and planned meals that I could around them, then did a meal plan to last the next 7 days and wrote a shopping list; and I actually stuck to it for once! Went to Asda and it was £48 for everything to last a week so I'm happy with that, that's including cat food and a new waterbottle!

Finally got hold of some Porky Lights, so having them tomorrow in a casserole!

Bargain of the day was some pre-chopped carrots, reduced to 5p! Thought they will do for the casserole tomorrow. Bargain!!

Was going to buy some Apricots today, as I really fancied some, but they were £3 for 5!!! What the heck!??? Nightmare. Ended up with 2 big bags of satsumas and a pack of plums, for less than £3. Love my satsumas I do lol.

So, food for today;

B: None
L: Cheese and Broccoli Pasta n Sauce (0.5)
D: SW Chicken Saag Meal with Rice (all free)
S: 2 Alpen Light (HEB), 2 Hifi Bars (6), Melon

Syns for today: 6.5

Still got my HEA to have so will probably have a milky coffee later.

Not bought any "bad" things in, so I can't be tempted by them. Did this before the holiday, and it worked a treat. Also not going to take my purse to work, then I can't buy anything there either!
Also started drinking my lemon water again.

Hope you're all well xxxxx

Such a motivational read there! Well done you! I so need to reduce my shopping bill, there are 3 of us, just me and the kids and our doggy but she's tiny and doesn't eat much. I need to do more planning ahead and sticking to it rather than seeing things on offer and buying double etc. My shopping bill is around £80-100 a week! :-( I guess it would be wiser to buy salad every couple of days and try and buy anything close to sell by reduced. Either way, the weight is falling off, so it's worth it.

Do you know what your spot on with not having things in the house. Week one I had nothing and lost 6.5. Now I have creme eggs, brownies ,kit kats freddos and ripples . The temptation is huge and most night I think oh what shall I have Iv got syns left.

Tonight I resisted as I didn't have time for breakfast so my hifi were had to night which worked great, think I'm going to have fruit for breakfast hifi at night. Near enough all my syns go on choc

I did get a few boxes of Laughing Cow Extra Light Cheese Triangles, cause they were reduced to £1, but everything else I've just stuck with my list. We are so skint at the moment, need to spend as little as we can lol!!

I've also bought some Ryvitas instead of bread as I can have 4 or 5 of them, so will fill me up more than the 2 small slices of bread.
And I like the LCEL Cheese as you can have 6 of them, but I only usally have 2 a day, so can have some milk as well.

Another tip was buy big packs of meat then split it into smaller freezer bags. I got a big pack of 8 pork steaks for £4, which will do me and the hubby for Stir Fry and with Jacket Potatoes so that like £1 a meal really.

I try not to buy Hifi Bars cause I can't just stop at 2 lol! So that's why I just don't have anything. If I do fancy some choccy I make a hot chocolate (either Options or Choc Shot), with a bit of squirty cream on top.
Also Meringues are 3 syns each, which I love! 1 Meringue Nest, some fruit, a squirt of squirty cream and some choc shot drizzled on top, all for 5 syns! yummy xx

Yep I do the big packs a lot works out a lot cheaper.
That's the trouble with slimming world the amount you can have can have makes it expensive.like baby bells ye might be a pound on offer but last 3 days and I love these . Also the triangles that's like nearly a pack a day isn't it .

I don't really have bread don't like wholemeal so it's 9 syns for me when I have bread. I think I had a bacon sarnie once at the weekend that's been it for a whole month.

Read earlier that Richmond thin sausages are 2.5 each yum I like them

Iv never seen this choc shot it it near the choc spreads and things and how many syns for how much. I like meringue aswell.

I'm obsessed with the hifi I won the raffle the other week so got 3 boxes plus already got 2 so Iv had loads but running low now rocky road are my fav but all nice.

Choc Shot is with the hot chocolate in our shop. It's in a ketchup type squirty bottle. You can have it as a drizzle or make hot chocolate with it (I like it better than the powdered hot chocolate as I always find it still tastes gritty but because it's a syrup there's no bits :))
It's quite expensive but lasts a aaaaaages.
It's 0.5 syns for 1 tsp.
I've seen people make chocolate rice pudding with it, going to try that at some point x
