CATCHING UP. 4 DAYS TO PUT ON. AT MY SONS HSE STILL. LOOKING AFTER DOG TILL SUNDAY PM THEN HOME. GOT WEIGHED AWAY FROM HOME AND LOST 1.1/2 POUNDS. 2LBS TO GO FOR 3 STONE. I AM 1/2LB LESS THAN WHEN i STARTED DOING IT ALL WRONG. AM SOOOO PLEASED. :happy036:

Mandy, I think my broken figure has gone to my head. I have lost 2st 9lb and have 5lbs to go to get 3 st. Not 2lbs as I said. Silly me, that is going to take 3 weeks I reckon. No wonder you said what a target to go for.
I will have to walk the dog more as I am here in Haverhill with her until around 5pm Sunday.

Anyway I know I can`t get five but can sure get two.
 
5.1/2 syns Saturday what a laugh. Don`t really know what I ended up having, 2 warburtons thins alone is 10 syns and I had cheese and tomato in them. Say 9 for the cheese. thats about 24. 1/2. Note to self "don`t buy warburtons thins"

MONDAY 29TH JULY. RED DAY

Went to hospital worried about hand and they gave me a foam sling and said to only use hand when nec as it is quite a big break for a finger. It seems better already. Pick up bacon with hand, slice toms with bread knife with left hand - and it goes on. It is difficult but can manage as long as some things are eaten with fingers.

brocolli as not had much real green stuff lately. Forgot brocolli, had tomatoes
small boiled spuds - don`t have to cut them. haha

Might get some grapes

OH had a quick weigh on my scales this morning and have sts. So must be good rest of week!

No grapes got nectarines & plums.
Also got some hard boiled eggs in fridge if hungry this evening

Had them with tomatoes and h/e cheese.

11.1/2 syns. not what I was aiming for. Could have been worse

Mandy it is more awkward than I would have imagined, especially as the only time I should take hand out of sling is if I really need to use it. Must say tho` it is feeling better for it. Of course everything takes twice - no 3 times as long. Anyway it could have been worse eh? I could have fell on my face or broken an arm or leg. Now that would have been awkward. Must be thankful for small mercies I suppose. x
 
I really feel for you. I broke the knuckle at the bottom of my middle finger last August, and I never want to go through that again. You must look after it or it'll take months to heal properly.

Oh dear, I took the sling off to eat my dinner and the finger was soon looking bruised again. I will look after it, I don`t want to be months waiting for it to heal. Thanksfor your concern Mandy.

How's the finger?

The colours make a change Mandy. I was going to change the colours for the different plans, but thought I would change colour most days.

As for the finger, it is still hurting some but feeling a lot better as I am using the sling more.
The awkward this is cutting food but am getting there. I was feeling very depressed and frustrated about it this morning and sat in the garden with my coffee sulking. :cry:

Anyway pulled myself together and slowly cleared the kitchen using the good hand and felt much better after that. Silly me. Thanks for asking Mandy

We all have off days, I've had an off week this week!
I know it's awkward but rest your finger as much as possible, I didn't give mine enough time and made matters much worse.

It was delish. Added a little mild curry powder -even better. Enough for next two days or of course a snack later
