Good for you, Doreen. :) Glad your aches have gone off and that you're feeling positive. A bit of gardening at Havershill will be good Body Magic too. :) Don't go over-doing things though. xx

It is so easy to write it down isn`t it. I would like to do some but will take it easy. I usually get very tired there I know.

OOOH - well done Doreen - you'll be wearing those comfortably v soon! Great to get new clothes esp in smaller size! Are you going to keep a pair of the other sizes - so that you can show them at group how much you've lost when you're at target!!

As Kathy says you're very organised and I can feel your determination from here! So here's to a great week for you Doreen. Regarding calcium - not sure how much we need a day - perhaps you cd ask the nurse/doc when you next go?

I have osteopenia (the precursor to osteoporosis) wouldn't know I have it - no symptoms or anything - but cos my Mum had it - I have a bone scan every 3 years - and I have calcium tabs on prescription.

Kathy - we had the easy pork and chorizo meatballs again last night - they're so easy to make, went down very well and seem like off plan food so thx again for all your hard work! Chicken is defrosting for 2 lots of sticky chilli chicken - taking a leaf from Doreen's book and cooking in advance! Hope you're having a good weekend. xx

It is so handy having some food ready in the freezer most especially in Haverhill but also when at home and don`t feel like cooking.
Hope your weekend ok and you to Kathy.

am getting muddled where to type all this.
The trousers I had before have gone to charity shops. But I will keep some of what I am wearing now.

SO sorry you have that bone thing. Good job they keeping an eye

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Yes, I am, thanks but very tired, for some reason. Did housework this morning (yay!), then my son came round and tonight I'm just relaxing and watching The Voice. :) Tomorrow we are taking Pete's mum out for lunch so, hopefully, that'll be good. Hope you enjoy your day tomorrow, whatever you're up to. :)

So glad you enjoyed the meatballs. Sticky chilli chicken - it's ages since we had that! Might have to add it to next week's menu! Have a good evening, Linda. xx

Oh I forgot - talking about clothes - I have ordered 2 tops from Tesco on line too. They are going to be delivered to Haverhill store. I like them so I hope they are ok. Will let you know when I get them Tuesday

Congratulations to Wales for winning the rugby.

Your food sounds delicious. I love qwark or should I say kwark lol, but always forget to buy it.

I keep saying I will try that chilli chicken but never seem to get around to it. I always have chicken in the freezer. Perhaps when I come home.

I was pleased with my syns yesterday and having boiled spuds again was really nice. Have been up since 5am, woke with a headache. I reckon it was because I didn`t wash up last night:(. Took a couple of painkillers and washed and tidied around the kitchen. All done now. :) I am going back to bed at 7am and try to get a couple more hours. Headache gone. Got minced beef out for tonight which I am going to cook with onions and cumin. Not had that for a while.
My god food talk at 6.15am - get out of my head please food.

Will come back later. Have a good Mothers Day.

Thx Doreen - yes the sticky chilli chicken was lovely - esp handy to make a big batch cos it takes a little while to make inc the marinating time - but well worth it!

Sorry u were up so early - how good are u to clear up at that time - it wd have had to wait for me me ;)

Your tea sounds tasty - I can talk and think food 24 hours a day - have I told you hubby says I'm obsessive about it!

Hope we all have a good Mothering Sunday xx

Well the Mothering Sunday lunch done - out with MiL, SiL & BiL went ok - chilling now! See how I did below! Here's my plan for the day:

b: bacon, egg sandwich - heb - 53g bread (cut too much off the crusts grrrr!) ketchup 1 syn? pear
l: beef, turkey, yorkshire 3 syns?, peas, carrots, cauli - resisted gravy and roasties and the choc fudge cake
t: something light - not sure yet

drinks: water, fruit tea, diet drinks

syns: 4 so far

WHY/HOW did I resist those goodies at lunch? Cos I don't feel as if I've lost anything this week, in fact I feel fatter esp round my middle :( but will NOT be having a mid week Boots WI to check tho!

I've also checked my total syns this week - 48 out of the 70 I'm allowing myself - up to last night, so ok there - but I'll be upset if don't lose even a half!

Will try to have SP day in desparation 2moro! xx

I am going to look up chilli chicken in a minute. I have just been to see my friend Linda who also does sw and we always get around to talking food. Obsessive about food? What is hubby talking about? ;)

Had to clear up as was going away tomorrow, not going till Tuesday now.

Glad the lunch went ok. Yes how did you resist those goodies lunch time Linda. No don`t weigh at boots. Mind you I will still weigh Wednesday wherever I am. I take scales with me. Not been on them since Friday though.

Beef turkey and yorkshire. I have not had a yorkshire for ages. There is a recipe for some somewhere and they reckon to freeze the ones not eaten. May gave a look.
Food sounds scrumptious. Enjoy the rest of your day Linda.

Hope your lunch went ok Kathy. I reckon there is something in the air as there seems to be a lot of people feeling more tired than usual.

I got up at 5am but did not go back to bed as was aching. I am going to turn my mattress shortly as I have not done it in a while. That nearly always solves the aching problem.

Have a good day, or what is left of it Kathy.

Now to look up that chilli chicken. xx

Hope everyone's having a lovely Mothering Sunday. :) Had an absolutely gorgeous card from my daughter, Amy. The words were so special, saying about me always being there for her and how she's always appreciated it. Think it was mainly referring to all the hassle at Christmas time, with her horrible boyfriend (who she, unfortunately, is still with) and helping her out with her Uni expenses but they were such thoughtful words. :) I told her not to buy me anything, other than the card because she's already struggling financially and I'm so glad, for once, that she took heed. Think I may have said, yesterday, but already had some Yankee smellies and gorgeous soaps, from my son, Philip.

We took Pete's mum out for lunch, which she really enjoyed. The pub was quaint and out in the countryside and the staff were lovely. Bought her a plant too. I then took some mini daffodils up to my Mum's grave, went to Sainsbury's to grab some salad stuff, then came home. Just had a cuppa and will probably watch a film soon. Can't believe how fast this weekend has gone! :(

Glad you're not going until Tuesday now, Doreen. It'll give you an extra day of 'me' time. Glad you mentioned turning the mattress - I must do ours too, next time I change the bed.

Weighed this morning and, despite being angelic all week, have stayed the same! :S Usually happens after I've had a good loss the previous week (3lb last week)! No rhyme nor reason. I'll have to hope for better next week.

Just bought some Quark so might make a crustless quiche later. We're having a buffet at school tomorrow so will take it in. Everyone always enjoys it and can't believe it's allowed on SW. In fact, I think I'll make it at break time tomorrow and ask the cook to put it in her oven, then it'll be served warm. :) The cook is actually a target member at SW so I know she'll help out. She sometimes tweaks some of the school dinners for me so they end up either being Syn Free or very low in Syns. It's such a help. xx

That`s good of the cook to help you out Kathy. I got 2 lovely cards today. So nice. I love going to quaint pubs for a meal. Used to do it a lot when I was married. Not so now.

I am not going until Tuesday as my son will be home. He was laying on the bed when somebody knocked on the door, the dog jumped up and put his paw into Niks open eye. He is in a lot of pain poor thing. He went to the hospital - had to drive too - he has a not so nice scratch on the coloured part of the eyeball. They have given him ointment, painkillers, and some eye drops. The drops are an anesthetic which he can use every 6 hours. They say that is the only way he will be able to sleep.

Poor thing, you can hear the pain in his voice. He says he will pick the children up from school but rest most of the day as he was told to. He never has a problem having a rest lol.
All joking aside if he goes to work Tuesday then I will be going up there.
