Haven`t read all your comments yet. I have been back since Thursday 7pm but could not find lead for computer and didn`t feel like looking for it, was too tired.
I will catch up later.
I had a good week with the children and son and DIL, went to the school swimming gala, the school play in which Faye played the lead and took Flynn to his football lesson after school before coming home. I was knackered.

The main reason that I stayed with them was because Nik & Davina had felt that the time had come to have their dog Nancy put to sleep. It was done on Monday. Flynn took it well, but does not want to talk about her. Faye was proper upset and Nik and Davina were devastated. Nancy had got so bad it was time. It makes me cry just to type it. I was their leaning post and felt I needed to be strong for them. Davina and I spent a lot of time doing things on the house and eating. :)

No weigh day, put too much on,. Have just spent 2 hrs weeding the garden so hope that will help for this week.

Good to know you're back safely and you're now rested. Sorry to hear about Nancy, it's so hard to lose pets, even when you know it's kinder to them to let them go. :(
I'm sure you've been a huge support and strength but now you need a bit of TLC too and to rest up. Xx

Lovely to have u back with us Doreen :) but I was really sorry to hear about Nancy - our pets are so precious and quickly become part of the family - but it must have been the kindest thing to do at that point. You're so kind and such fun I'm sure the family appreciated u staying with them.

Time enough to sort out the weight loss - more important things on ur mind.

Looking forward to reading ur posts again - we've all missed u!! :bighug:

I've been living up to my sign in name so much recently :devilangel:but started on Kay's salad challenge which helped get me focussed - but had too many syns and carbs for the rules last week but lost 2lbs so was really chuffed - I've been better this week so hoping for a loss. Take care xx

My food went like this today - last day of the challenge so tried to go for it! Will have a low-ish day 2moro b4 Tuesday's class & looking forward to a big bacon buttie for lunch afterwards!

Brunch: lamb steak and salad, ff yog with dried apricots (HEB)
Tea: warm chicken salad and veg, ff yog and raspberries

ss milk in 1 tea and 2 coffees (part HEA)

You're going to have a great loss upndown... I just know it. I'm almost as excited for you as I was for me last week, lol. Just remember not to go mad tomorrow, let yourself back into 'normal' eating slowly and keep up that water!

Thx but I've had a sneaky peep at the scales and it won't be a big loss - 2lbs I think but I'll be happy with that - just really chuffed I'm back in the zone and target is in sight (again!)

I'll really try to heed ur advice & not to go nuts after WW WI on Tuesday morning - it helps that our hols are coming up v soon - after all I want to look my best in my itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie yellow polka dot bikini - LOL!! (the world's just not ready for THAT!!) I think I will try to keep on with the water - maybe not the whole 3L tho' - I've found that it fills me up and after the first few days - it wasn't so bad and made easier cos I seemed to be more thirsty than usual.

How are u doing? Hope u've had a good weekend x

Rofl... love the itsy bitsy bikini bit. I don't think the world would EVER be ready for me in one! Those days are long gone, hmm, can't even remember the last time I wore a bikini but you can get some lovely one piece swimmers these days.
Great to hear it's really got you back on track and enthused, deffo try and keep up with the water, it does seem that your bladder capacity increases or something, as I've kept up with between 2 and 2.5 litres a day most days and don't have to run to the loo quite as much. Main benefit for me has been an improvement in my skin. It's usually pretty good but its looked really good, even if I say so myself, clearer, fuller (in a good way) kind of thing. Definitely much more hydrated, when often in the summer I struggle to keep it moisturised from the 'outside', obviously the higher fluid levels are doing it from the inside too.

Had a lovely weekend, thanks... had friends over last night and Kay had worked out a plan for cooking a fantastic curry meal and it went down a storm. I'm not a bad cook really but had never ever cooked a curry from scratch, I'd only ever used a jar sauce :-/ So I was a bit nervous about it turning out ok but it was not only ok, it was delicious. Everyone else thought so too and piggied the lot (apart from a small bowl of the Bombay Potatoes I'd kept back to have with todays bbq). I was thrilled and will definitely be making more, in fact midweek curry I think lol.
Today we popped to Homebase to get a few house bits, cut the grass and then had all the family here and lovely relaxed bbq and just chilled.

I ordered the fakeaway book just before cancelling my SW online sub and sadly, I never got it (they didn't take the money either, so I couldn't complain) but have seen a couple of the recipes in mag or online.
You have a good'un too hun x
