NannyDoreen & Upndown's daily diaries

You too Kathy. I went out for lunch fully intending to have a jacket, but had ham egg chips salad with dressing. Last night I kept eating sandwiches.

Went to class today as a friend asked me to go as she has been on hols and thought she had put on 1/2 stone ........ well she lost 1/2lb. Jammy :) x. She is trying to get me to do success express, or red and green. I know she is meaning well and trying to help me but my goodness she bombarded me with what I should and shouldn`t do. Anyway I just listened and said I would do my best to lose weight next week. That is all any of us can do I suppose. Bless her, she worries about it more than me.

Anyway, enjoy you tea and your meal with work mates. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks, Doreen! Just off to pick her up now. Clouds threatening so might take her Bakewell way, then we can nip in and out of shops, if necessary! :)

Kathy xx

I had one slightly off challenge day yesterday but back to it today. Hoping that the extra totm weight will go before Monday weigh in. Have to say I am getting slightly fed up with salad every day, I like it but am looking forward to ringing the changes a bit.

Lol at the French being ready. I'm sure it won't come to that. You're relaxing on holiday and not surprising that you've also relaxed your eating but I bet you pull back a bit and average it out, especially if your clothes start to get a bit tight! :)

Well Cloudy ur psychic- cos that's just what I've done the last couple of days - eating healthily with averageish portions and a few treats each day - hope I can keep it up or the French are going to get an eyeful!!

Know what you mean about the salads but as you say u can ring the changes I used to add lettuce to some warm veg and heat beet and mushrooms just to ring the changes - but it does work and good to have a dedicated thread to chat to others & get foody ideas. Talking of food - I walked past (yes past) a fantastic artisan patisserie today - def going back there on our last week to buy one of their scrummy cakes which are like works of art!

Doreen hope you're doing well and Mo is hanging on in there - hello & good luck with the diet to Chocko and anyone else reading this!!

Well done on eating healthily and total awe at walking past those cakes, not sure I could have, lol, not this week anyway.
Sounds like you're having a great time. Wish I was away right now :)
X

Ps. Remember to take a photo of the cake before you scoff it hehe.

You were really good to record the food you had over your time away Doreen. You had a few treats but I'm sure if I'd been away, I'd have eaten a lot more than that! Then back on it today, how good are you?!! The hardest part of going off plan for me is getting back on it again - it's SO tempting to think, just one more day, one more and before you know it, a week later and you're still eating for a whole family! I'm impressed!

Did you have a good time? I've had a busy few days but have still managed to stick to plan. Had my hair done this morning and a wander round the shops, bought a couple of bits for the house but no clothes, I can't quite bring myself to buy many new clothes in an 'intermediate' size, though I did buy some size 14 jeans the other day and they're wearable, though quite snug, let's say lol.

Hi ladies, hope you are well. I'm back to do this properly this time, I've gained a bit too much this time. It must go! So I will be following your guides and tips x x
