Nefertari's journey to lose 130lbs

It's only normally one day a week that I have no breaks - I make up for it the next day by spacing them out properly and drinking lots of water!

I just know myself that I could walk and eat a praline bar at the same time!

Caz, I have one curry pack and have never tried curry before. Thinking of getting some quorn and making a quorn curry (think I saw a recipe on FB) and cauli rice tomorrow night as it is Friday! It will be interesting to try.Was sorely tempted to blow it and order my favourite pasta dish but stuck to chicken salad.
 
I didn't like the curry at first but it's really grown on me. Makes a nice change, I've had it with quorn in too. It's nice :)
 
I don't do walking and eating at the same time anyway. Same reason for my avoidance of eating in public...

Thanks Lou! Day off today so going to bury myself in my books and crack on with some Uni work!

My S&S order is coming today - might just treat myself to the praline bar at tea time! X
 
I've picked my graduation dress for January! I want to be slim but curvy and oozing class and sophistication. I know I'm months ahead of schedule but I like to have things to aim for. Last time I graduated, I felt hideous. I couldn't even wear heels. This time, I'll be strutting up on stage in heels and wearing those tights with the line down the back. And with 1950s hair! And deep red lipstick. It's how I've always wanted to look but never have been able to. image-2087110077.jpg
 
Where have me rolls gone LOL! Has your order arrived yet? Hope so. Mine always comes bang on time, even up here. Hope you don't win any of those sweets though! That would be pure torture!
 
Just arrived! After the delivery man got lost and sent me an email saying I'd have to rearrange delivery and then me calling Interlink and making him come back...

ANYWAY, got a free shaker and tape measure! Very impressed! My cupboard (I have my own diet cupboard haha!) is now fully stocked :D

I'm attempting a macaroni cheese for lunch. Let's see how it goes down this time. Still not brave enough to try the chilli. I've never eaten kidney beans before - worried I won't like it! Then it will be a choc shake around 4 and my praline bar (HOORAH!) this evening. Can't be faffing about with making real food tonight. 4 packs is so much easier.

WI tomorrow and I'm not hopeful. Looking at 1.5lb at the moment. I'm due TOTM again though so that might be the reason. Plus I have lost 24lbs in 3 weeks - maybe my body needs a break!
 
I wouldn't worry about the kidney beans -- there's only about 2 per pack and you would be hard pushed to find them as they have been blitzed to smithereens! But I don't think you'll like it though. It's not chocolate! No, seriously, if you thought the spag bol was too spicey then you won't like the chili. Maybe you could swap it for........

Made the Quorn Curry with cauliflower rice, and it was very nice indeed. Wasn't expecting the curry sauce to be as nice as that and only ordered 1. Will order more next time. It wasn't spicey at all, quite sweet almost.

Do you not have a goblet blender? Must admit I bought one for a tenner last year and couldn't be phaffed with a shaker now -- too much like hard work. 30 seconds in the blender and you are guaranteed lump-free every time!

Are you switching back to TFR this week?
 
Does it say on the meal planner that you can mix and match like that? I just remember on CD they always said to choose one or the other, that it really wasn't a good idea. Going to check it out as I can't decide which to go for. I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that we can't store protein so we need to eat it daily and every day we don't eat protein our skin ages that bit faster etc.
 
OK, now I'm really confused. Went on S&S and watched the meal planner demo and it selected 4 packs, plus brocoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, coffee with skimmed milk. So veg and no protein and 4 packs? Unless the protein is the skimmed milk???
 
The way I see it, the instructions say you MAY have the protein/veg/milk. Therefore, I choose if I want to have it or not. Mixing and matching shouldn't be an issue either - the way I understand it, the extra protein is because 3 packs is only 75% of your daily needs.

I might be doing it wrong but that's how I'm doing it. If I start feeling ill, then I'll reassess.

You're fine doing it like that. I did before Christmas and still lost well. I did it on CD too! No reason not to mix.
 
Loooks like your doing ace!!

Your fine mixing and matching 3+protein and 4 days, don't think I ever did the same two days in a row!!

You can enjoy milk and veg allowance on either option .. if you want!
