Nefertari's journey to lose 130lbs

Bring it on! It will be so brilliant when you get into the 15's and N in the 18's. All new territory. For me, it about getting back to what I was and what I did achieve. It's funny, I was there so short a time, it still feels like new territory. I managed to get into the 11's in August when I got married and already the 11's feel like a distant land!

Getting a puppy takes up a heck of your time! Not advising it but it does take up time and change your whole routine. If I even get a coffee before 11am these mornings I think I am doing well! I don't see why you can't go out you know. On Sat night or Sunday lunch time, why not go check out a new pub. You just order a large bottle of water. It makes drinking water a bit more interesting having new surroundings and people watching! And you can sit there feeling smug thinking of all the money you are saving while getting slim! No need to sit at home!

Cinema, watching movies at home, walks along the seafront, bike rides - nothing majorly exciting!, Caz but better than ordering a takeaway or eating out!

Day 37 today - flippin' heck! Nearly into the 40s in terms of days on the diet. Unbelievable!

Having eggs as my protein tonight. I'm thinking of trying to offload my porridge packs - I won't have enough to do 4 packs for the next three weeks but I don't mind switching to doing 3 + protein every day a bit earlier than planned. Will try to cook it again workout killing it and if I like it, I'll keep them.

I feel reassured about the protein since I lost a good amount this week and I did a mixture of 3 + protein and 4. I'm not scared of eating it anymore. It's enjoyable and feels like a treat AND it helps me lose weight. Win!

Glad you've gotten over your protein fear! I wish I lived near the sea :(

Day 38 - even closer to the 40s! I haven't been on the scales since my WI - go me!

Day at home today - I have so much work to do for tomorrow. I have to give a presentation and I haven't even written it yet! And I have a seminar to prepare for and I haven't done the readings. Time has got away from me this last week. I'm not sure how I'm going to get it all done today...

TOTM is due as well so I have a tummy ache :( Not a good start to the day!

Was the the S&S Original Oatmeal or the Sweet Porridge you didn't like? Wish I could remember better. I think I hated the Sweet Porridge instantly but thought the Oatmeal was OK. Then, a few packs later I hated the Oatmeal. Found the smell of it cooked really offensive lol! All I know is that I love, love the CD Original Porridge. Lived on it for years :)eek:) and even if I don't fancy it for breakfast and have a shake instead I will still have it in the evening and enjoy it. Especially in winter. Thinking of ordering some more and sticking to the tried and tested as I've a wedding to go to in a month and I really want to shift a few lbs for that.

It is funny how your tastes change and how you can really like a pack and then go right off it. Only last night I was eating an S&S spag bol and hating it. I nearly binned it. It was so hard to finish. Vowed I would never make another one again. Got about 8 of them left, along with about 8 chillis which I have gone off too.
Still no sign of the praline bars, which is the only pack I really like on S&S now.

It's the sweet porridge I don't like - haven't tried the oatmeal yet. Have got shot of them in favour of some cookies and cream shakes and spaghetti packs. Yum!

Still got my head stuck in the computer - it's been 8hrs. I think I have rectangle eyes now...

I want cookies and cream shakes! :(

How are you doing Nef?

Mmm bread.... lol

Ah well at least you've got it done and don't have to worry about it now I suppose! I'm ok, absolutely knackered though and I've only been back at work one day lol
