I need to lose on average 1.9lb a week I know that I may not lose that much each week and I may not meet my target but I need something to keep me focused putting pressure on myself spurs me on If I just say oh well if I hit my target then great but if I don't never mind then I relax more which means I'm more likely to fall off the wagon.
Sorry for the ramble but I spent all evening pulling my pj bottoms up and all day pulling my jeans up and I think it's suddenly sinking in that I'm actually doing this and it's working and I'm losing weight!! I'm actually feeling a little emotional!! Lol what am I like a long way to go yet!! Xxx

Hey Hun,ideal goals set and if it works for you and helps you to keep going then it's all worth it :0) and you've come along way already so there's nothing wrong in being emotional! You have a lot to be proud of :0)
 
You're doing so well and have come so far! xx You are doing this, believe in yourself! We believe in ya! ;) Pressure is healthy but don't beat yourself up over it, you've got a lot to get through in a day to day life without worrying about losing weight too so don't deny yourself treats etc ;) xx Yay to pulling up pjs/jeans, that's a great sign, looser clothes was one of the main reasons i know i've lost weight despite not being able to see it! *hugs*

I hope we're invited to this amazing 30th birthday party! :p

That sounds like a great plan hun.. When I started I made small goals as if I feel something is too far off I give up coz it feels like too much work.. I know.. Pathetic! Just fricken do it!! But that's me.. So I started with a goal of losing 2 stone.. Knew I had more to lose, but like you had a solid number in mind while still being realistic (strangely enough, I wanted that off and my goal was my 30th birthday!!) I reached that 2stone goal and surpassed it in November.. Right before my birthday.. Since then I've put back on 5lb, so am down only 2 stone now.. I then seems to plateau and am still stuck.. But I will not give up trying... Now I have another goal of losing another stone.. Don't have a target time frame, just whenever.. But I do have a target to NOT gain any more.. If my "pounds lost" goes less than that 2 stone I will be very annoyed at myself.. i will not allow it to happen.. Hopefully now I've started walking with Stringer the weight will start decreasing again and i'll hit my new target...
PS.. 13 weeks n almost 3 stone off is AMAZING... Well done!

Definitely sounds like a good target to aim for. Go for it. Isn't it funny how different we all are in our approaches - I was only writing in my diary that having a 'timed' target doesn't work so well for me, because of the way I react to it, but it works well for you.

Just watch out that those jeans don't fall right off!

I have to weigh tomorrow morning 2 days early as we are going away tomorrow evening for the weekend! Not expecting much but after a STS last week I'm hoping for 1lb xx

We are all heading up to my mother in-laws in london tomorrow evening after I finish work staying there tomorrow night then me and hubby are off to Birmingham on friday for a charity evening and a night away whilst my mummy in-law has the kids then it's back to London on Saturday for another night at mummy in-laws then home on Sunday!! Xx

Hubby has just text me asking if I want some golden syrup ice cream?! Yuk lol I bet that would be far too sweet.
I really want him to bring home some coffee I've cream but they never seem to run it at the moment :-( xx
