Hi Suzy, glad you want to join another week :). I will not be using you group weigh in result, you need to weigh yourself on Monday morning on your home scales hun, first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything. I need the figure on Monday morning from you .

Hi Kay.
I have added scales to my shopping list as we don't have them in the house. I'll have to hide them as my mum has an eating disorder. When she weighs herself and is over 7 stone she will stop eating or hide food if she is eating with us.

I will post it first thing monday. Have a good weekend.
Just off to the boy friends armed with salad and a litre bottle of water in my bag. Xx :)

Kay - I have a question - I'm going to a bbq tonight it's at a venue so checked out the menu - basically the veggie option is not challenge friendly and don't want to offend my friends by taking my own - the meat option will be fine with the 'dry' salad stuff - so wd it be ok to swap today's green day for red and do green 2moro - soory to give u more work xx

Normally it would be ok Linda, but a day before weigh in has to be Red and a non carb day. Have you calculated how much the syns would be if you went for the items on the menu ?

I think go with the flo for now Linda, try and make the best possible choices you can, then we can review it better in the evening once your back or tomorrow morning because you will know what's gone in your tum by then, and you can pull back on Sunday on syns, otherwise we will just be guesstimating ;) hope this helps hun.

A quick post to ask for a holiday today. These guests are ruining all my good work earlier in the week - it's a good thing I did the challenge for 4 days as it might just prevent this week being a disaster weight-wise!

Mmm - I'm not sure! Monday to Thursday were 100%, but Friday was Green with too many Syns, Saturday a big fat fail (but did get a side salad and plenty of exercise although light on water), and I'm not sure what Sunday will bring. I'm hoping to redeem myself but can't promise it.

2. CYCLE : Get fit cycle
3. DAY OF CHALLENGE: Five
4. PLAN: Green
5. WATER INTAKE: 3litres (smashed it today)
6. CARBS TODAY: portion of thin sliced potatoes sprayed with butter frylight, topping extra lean mince for dinner, with loads of veggies
7. BODY MAGIC/ EXERCISE: About a four mile walk (two miles there and back again)
8. TOTAL SYNS: 9.5 on Dairy Milk 4.5, Alpen Light 3, Options 2.0
9. SALAD: M&S green salad (threw away the dressing) with cooked chicken and a hard boiled egg, plus tomatoes, red peppers, gherkins, pickled onions and beetroot.

Received and understood, you've been very busy working on this thread today.

I won't be able to join you for next week's challenge as I have too many days out where I don't know what I'll be able to eat BUT wherever possible I will be eating a filling salad and drinking lots of water, as I've really enjoyed it this week and I know the extra fluid has been good for me. I've not had any headaches this week, which I often get if I'm dehydrated and also, as my daughter kindly pointed out, my skin has looked really clear this week. It's normally fairly good, I'm lucky but this week it's looked smoother and well... more hydrated :)
Looking forward to the last day of this week tomorrow, then finding out everyone's results on Monday. Good luck to everyone. I shall also be popping in each day to read how everyone is doing and supporting from the sidelines. :)

6. CARBS TODAY: Snack a Jack Crisps
7. BODY MAGIC/ EXERCISE: 1 hour walk in the park
8. TOTAL SYNS/TREAT CALS: 6 (Crisps 5, Olives 1,)
9. SALAD: Lunch - Scrambled Eggs with onions and mushroom with a green salad with olives and cherry tomatoes.
Tea - Quorn Peppered Steak with Florette Crispy Salad and tomatoes and cucumber with balsamic dressing.
