NEW Kays Salad Challenge - APRIL to SEPT

Well I'm very happy this morning. 3.5 off for me, which, hoorah takes me below the next stone bracket PLUS my three stone award!

I'm dead chuffed as I know TOTM is about to happen. Guess as I've really had so few carbs (even on green days) that's helped as usually the week before I am extra hungry and crave carbs.
Definitely continuing next week to get properly into the twelves :)

Wow amazing losses guys! Well done! I'm joining you in mad dancing - lost 2 1/2 this week! Really pleased as my average losses have been 1/2lb!

All ready to go this week although I may have thursday off as I am supposed to be going out with my mum for lunch. will keep you posted.

As for me I am happy to report a 4 1/4 lb loss yeh. No major achievements but getting there.

Hi Kay, It's * this week so I didn't have much hope for a big loss. I've lost 2lb this week, not worried though it's a glass half full kind of result. Much better than STS :D I'm going to blast it next week. That's a total of 11lbs lost on your challenge. I definitely wouldn't have lost it without your help. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Good luck with you slow cooker purchase. I will definitely find that recipe book for you. Everything is still in disarray after our house move. I will find it somewhere!! Have to order new doors today. xx
p.s. just 2lbs away from my 2 stone award. I HAVE to get that next week xx

Yay ! :D Sue well done ! 2lbs loss on star week is fantastic ! I know I go in reverse on star week :p so to have a loss is flippin brilliant ! You smashed it on Turbo, its a tough cycle so really well done on completing it. I can only imagine if you didn't have star week I'm sure your loss would have doubled :). But as I said 2lb on star week is fab ! :p And your now only 2lbs away from your next award, woohoo ! :D That's so gonna be yours next week ! I hope your having a lovely week. I am also happy to report, that since starting this challenge a month ago, the average loss per person has sustained itself at 3lbs :D. I am delighted with this result ! It's so inspiring for everyone involved ! :p Well done to you all ! :):)

I put 6 on in my holiday break. Which took me back up to the top end on 13. :-(

Hiya

a) yes you can have your fruit as normal.
b) Snacks are fine as long as no cabs so fruit, yoghurt etc is fine or you can have your syns if you want
c) yep 2 x HeB on a green day but none on a red day unless it is dried fruit.

If this is wrong can someone please correct it.

Hi Jaffa Cake and welcome to the challenge. I see Maisie has answered your questions, so I'll just add it's a maximum of 10 syns whilst on the challenge. Most importantly, drink all your fluids, be it water or with no added sugar squash. Coffee doesn't count but green tea is great.

9. SALAD: shredded beef, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, spring onion and yellow pepper

Brilliant DAY 1 Maisie :p. Your shredded beef salad looks delish ! Well done for hitting all your targets. Glad you remembered to take a rest day, they are important although I do see some gym bunnies on here exercising on them lol. Good luck for week 2, I know you'll do fab this week. Thank you so much for all your help. I mainly do green days so 2 hex bs are very important to me !! As that is what I am used to so that is great to know

Hi JC :wavey:,

I just saw your post. I think I should just clarify if you normally do 7 green days then that's fine but then on the days marked RED make sure you are only having your HEX-A's but not your HEX-B's you will have to syn those if you want them, because RED days are low carb days. On RED days the only HEX-B you can have are dried fruit.

On the days marked Green and EE you can have both your Healthy Extras. I hope this makes sense ;).
