New Start, New Diary.....


Today: Green Day

Today got off to a bad start. After the lumpy milk :yuk:didn't really feel like eating so after a while had a cup of BNS/sweet potato soup.

Lunch: quite late in the day but had 3 cauldron sausages (1.5 syns- when I made these I forgot they were half a syn each, only realised after I ate them they were half a syn each) with sweet chilli low fat superfree noodles. Cadbury creme egg cone (8.5 syns- so worth it, only 2 left will have to check tomorrow to see if where I got them has any left, doubt it though as think they might only be there for Easter :( )

Dinner: rushed as had weigh in tonight and left going to sainsburys quite late but had another 3 cauldron sausages (1.5 syns had cooked all 6 earlier as found the box at the bottom of the freezer and thought they needed ate, this was before I realised they had syns!!) and nibbled on loads of grapes as I made more BNS soup to do for lunch tomorrow!

Weekly syns: 97.5/105~
actually I confess, I had a slither of dads birthday cake as I was waiting for mum to get ready for SW so infact I've had the full 105 this week!
But am delighted to say I lost 2.5lbs this week :D :D
I think trying different foods has really helped so will hopefully try more new stuff this week. Only 1lb to get my stone and a half so thats what I'm aiming for this week!!
 
Have just had the loveliest dinner and it was pretty quick and easy to make. A while back I took some of my leftover mushy pea curry into work for my break but got one of the girls to try it and guess what was in it. She was amazed when I told her!! Anyway, her sister in law is a district manager or something for slimming world and told her about this other curry which she thought was nicer so that is what I tried tonight. Just had 2 plates of it and am absolutely stuffed!!!

This curry is made from 1 tin of chickpea dahl, 1 tin of heinz five beans in tomato sauce and a tin of chopped tomatoes. Add in whatever veg you want and curry powder. It was really really nice and has a lot of speed foods. I added a chopped onion, peppers, peas, green beans and quorn pieces.

Thursday: Green Day

Breakfast:
orange and banana. Strawberry yogurt

Lunch: BNS soup with 3 sesame ryvita (HEB) and 3 dairylea triangles (HEA). It was a massive bowl of soup, had more fruit and yogurt with me but was too full for it

Snack: banana

Dinner: curry and rice. Had loads! And when I was putting some into a container to take to my friend in work I had more...

Snacks: curly wurly (6 syns) and 35g coco orange shreddies (HEB and A for milk)

Total syns: 6
Weekly syns: 11/105
(counting 5 for another tiny bit of chocolate fudge cake I had before leaving mums last night!)
 
Friday: Green Day


Working 1-9 so eating at odd times!

Before work: 2 boiled eggs with half tbsp of salad cream (0.5 syns), cup of BNS soup with 2 quorn sausages and 2 baked sweet potatoes

At work: BNS soup with 3 wholegrain ryvita and 3 dairylea triangles. Lemon alpen light (yum!). An apple, banana and strawberry WW yogurt. This was all on 1 break. Just wanted to keep on eating! (HEA and B)

After work: a banana and some grapes. bowl of pasta in tomato sauce. 35g coco orange shreddies (HEA and B)

Total syns: 0.5
Weekly syns: 11.5/105
 
Saturday: Green Day

Breakfast:
orange and an apple. had a peach yogurt with me but didn't taste nice so threw it out!

Lunch: BNS soup, 3 wholegrain ryvita with dairylea and an lemon alpen light (HEA and B). Lemon tart WW yogurt and an orange

Snack: banana and some grapes

Dinner: peanut curry with rice (5.5 syns)

Snack: orange and rocky road hifi (half HEB)

Total syns: 5.5 -but will be 15 if I decide to have teaser bar later :)
Weekly syns: 17/105 (or 26.5 if I have teaser bar!!)
 
Ended up not having the teaser bar as when I went to mums there was an open easter egg (really! I thought these would have all been ate by now!!) sitting out so had some if it (probably 9.5 syns worth since it was pretty thick chocolate).

Sunday: Green day

Breakfast: coffee

Lunch: baked potato with cheese (HEA) red onion and tomato (put in the oven for the last few minutes so the cheese melted, yum!) plus 2 quorn sausages and beans

Snacks: orange, apple and raspberry ww yogurt

Dinner: BIG plate of chips with 2 quorn bbq fillets and beans

Snacks: 2 rocky road hifi (HEB)

Still more healthy extras and syns to use later for snacks :)
 
Had a slight panic attack there driving home. For a second I thought I had lost control of the car (like when I crashed) even though I was driving on a straight and hadn't. Was panicky the rest of the way home which thankfully wasn't that far but was passing where I did crash (although I was driving in the opposite way than when it happened). My friend was over earlier and was asking about it cos he wanted to look for the hole in the hedge I left! Maybe that's put it in my mind which caused it? I do pass it everyday and always go slow passing where but haven't felt panicky like that before (except for the first few times going past or when my OH is driving past and I think he's going too fast!)

Anyway, have ate 2 more rocky roads (HEB), an orange and teaser bar (9.5 syns) since I got back. Needed the choc fix otherwise wouldn't have ate that many rocky roads today!

Yes I was fine going to work this morning and coming back, guess it was just yesterday silly brain!

Gone a wee bit overboard foodwise today but don't mind at all as I well within my weekly syns.

Monday: Green Day

Breakfast:
an apple, orange and ww yogurt

Lunch:
peanut curry and rice (5.5 syns), jelly (0.5 syns)

Snack:
loads and loads of grapes! I've been picking on them since I got home

Dinner:
mustard mash (0.5 syns), beans, corn on the cob, peas, 2 quorn sausages and 1 LM sausage

Snacks:
wee bit of Easter egg (5 syns- guesstimate), low syn brownies (guessing 12, my whole mix was 18 syns and I've ate about half of them and kept tasting the mix), 5 corn thins (B).

Still have another HEB and A (I've had some milk in a few cups of coffee today) but honestly don't think I could eat anymore tonight. Am completely stuffed, just feel heavy now and starting to regret eating so much!!

Tuesday: Green Day

Breakfast:
orange, apple and lemon yogurt (0.5 syns)

Lunch:
2 slices of nimble toasted with dairylea (A + B), 3 quorn sausages and beans. Jelly (0.5 syns)

banana, apple, oranges, brownies (6 syns) and choc (5 syns)

Dinner:
tagliatelle, broccoli and onions in philadelhpia light sauce (A). 2 quorn ginger and lime fillets.

Snack:
2 rocky roads (B)

Syns: 12

Weird day today, not helped by the fact I fell in work this morning. Completely fell back and whacked my head pretty hard. Big bump on my head but my neck is worse :( It's pretty painful to turn my head at the moment. Also the place beside us get held up by masked men this afternoon! The son of one of the ones I work with works there, and was on the counter when it happened. She's still waiting for him to get home. No-ones hurt but they are shaken, understandably since you don't expect that to be happening in broad daylight. Don't know how much money they got away with yet. Scum :mad:.

Wednesday: Green Day

Breakfast:
an apple and later a teaser bar (9.5 syns- needed the chocolate)

Lunch:
bowl of carrot and sweet potato soup with 2 slices of nimble toasted with dairylea (A + B), jelly (0.5 syns)
Not had dinner yet, probably have some soup with maybe ryvita. Have weigh in later, fingers crossed it's a good loss :)

I was upstairs looking for something, took a step backwards without looking and didn't realise there was a trolley so tripped on it and fell backwards hitting my head on a stack of plastic crates as I went down! Pain was quite bad last night but ok this morning. Finished at the dentist, might need a filling replaced after my next checkup but she thinks it will be ok for now. It's my day off and since I had to come into town for dentist I think il head over to sainsburys to stock up.

Yes feeling much better now thanks :) slept a lot yesterday and all last night and a few hours this morning!

Thursday: Green Day

Breakfast: a banana after the dentist

Lunch: 2 open mushrooms done in the oven with garlic, tomato, onion and cheese (A), 3 sausages, scrambled eggs and beans

Snacks: these were spread throughout the day as lunch was quite early and dinner quite late! an orange, lemon alpen light, cup of carrot and sweet potato soup, grapes

Dinner: mushy pea curry (with peppers, peas, onion and quorn pieces), rice and a few sweet potato wedges.

Snacks: 2nd lemon alpen light (B), 2 rocky roads (B) and (my last :sigh: ) creme egg cornetto (8.5 syns)

Total syns: 8.5

I'm not keeping track of weekly syns this week since I've nothing to keep them for so going for a 'use them or lose them' approach this week to see if it helps a loss!!

Working 1-9 today, taking some left over curry for my break. Off now to make some soup to do for lunch tomorrow and maybe to eat when I get home later which will be quite late since I've to stop to put my Granny to bed tonight.
 
Friday: Green Day
At work 1-9 so weird eating times today

Breakfast- 12.10: 3 open mushrooms done in the oven with garlic, tomato, onion and cheese (A), beans, scrambled eggs and 3 sausages. Snacked on some grapes on the way to work.

Lunch- 4.15pm: mushy pea curry and rice, 2 alpen light bars (B) and a rhubarb mullerlight

Snacks- after work at Grannys: 2 squares of galaxy caramel (4 syns), bite of chocolate (3 syns), a banana and 5 corn thins (B)

Dinner- finally home at 11: cup of carrot and sweet potato soup, strawberry cornetto (8 syns)
