New Start, New Diary.....

**slinks back in**** :whistle: can't believe its been nearly 4 months since I logged on!! :break_diet:

I don't even really know why, I remember having a really bad weekend foodwise, that led to a 'few' bad weeks... looking back in my book there was 8 weeks of either gains or maintains (mostly gains). I went back up to 11.5. I just couldn't stick to the plan and was eating piles and piles of junk food. My head really wasn't with it.

Finally got back on track mid July, have had a slip up since then but the past 3 weeks have been good and am down to 10 stone 12.5 again and hoping for a loss tomorrow.

10lbs to go to target, I CAN do this!!
 
Tuesday:

Breakfast: strawberries and melon. cup of coffee

Lunch: baked potato, 2 quorn sausages and a burger, cheese (A), beans and chopped red onion.

Dinner: Curry (onion, garlic, chilli, ginger, spices, peppers, chopped tomatoes and quorn pieces) with chips and rice

Snacks: 2 rocky road hifis (B), ryvita minis (B), 6 mikado (3 syns), counters (5.5 syns), milkyway (5 syns), WW yog and plum.

Total syns: 13.5

Breakfast today was melon, strawberries and WW yogurt. Was at the dentist and was numbed at both sides on top so while I'm hungry I can't really eat yet! Hopefully cuddles from my baby niece will make me feel better :)
 
Unexpected day off today, trying to stay away from the kitchen to stop eating! Already had 13 syns of choc and a bag of french fries! Went over my syns yesterday too but have been good the other days!

Ended up with a STS at weigh in on Wed. Disappointing since it had been a good week. We had a stand in consultant since our usual one was at training. Bit of controversy over the scales! When I got there (near the end of weigh in time) they were having problems so there was a load of people still needing weighed. They got it sorted but a lot of the women said the scales must be wrong since only 2 people had lost weight. Every one else had put on (I was the only STS). The C said she heard people say it but her scales weren't wrong. I've never been there and heard that many people put on weight!! When she got round to me, she was trying to make out I had done something wrong but I wrote EVERYTHING down last week, I know I hadn't! I wasn't going to speak out that it was that time of the month so it was the week I normally found hard to lose lol!!

Anyway, we shall see on Wednesday if the other women have big losses- which should happen if the scales were slightly off!
 
I've been so bad at updating this, I was for a few weeks writing everything I ate down but I've not been keeping that up. My OH thinks I'm too obsessed with food! He has said numerous times that I'm always thinking of food, I partly agree with him!!

Anyway since last time, I didn't stay out of the kitchen. Ate a load of junk that Mon, Tues and right up to weigh in on the Wed and lost 1.5lb. Think that had something to do with the scales the previous week. Last week I was being really good (to make up for the few days of junk :( ) and kept syns low until I went to OH parents for Sunday dinner. Had a massive piece of lemon cheesecake for dessert. It was divine, and was sent home with loads of it too! (Though I did take some to my sister to stop me eating it!!) Still lost 1lb so was happy enough!

This week I started off having close to 15 syns the first few days and I feel like I've put weight on. Think I should be sticking to around 10 a day. Did go a bit over on Saturday (had nearly the full 15 and then went to mums and had 3 mini bags of haribo- no idea how many syns, and 3 chocolate biscuits- again no idea how many syns) Had few syns Sunday to make up (a few bites of boyfriends toasted soda!) and yesterday my only syns were 2 mini meringues and a sprinkling of honeycomb! (Last night for a snack I chopped up some grapes and strawberries, covered in toffee mullerlight, 2 crushed mini meringues and a sprinkling of honeycomb- it was yum!!)

Only a half pound needed for my stone and a half this week. I really really want it. With my weigh in last Wednesday I was the lightest I've been since my restart in January :D. I did get to 10 stone 10.5 in April and then started yoyoing and was 10 stone 10 last week.

Right, going to have a browse for new recipe ideas. I am going to try and keep this more updated. The problem is I tend to look on my phone and hate typing on that! I only ever really write if I'm using the laptop unless it's a quick reply!!
 
So not looking forward to weigh in tonight. Snacked far too much last night :( I just feel heavy!!

So far today I've had some grapes, strawberries and coconut mullerlight for breakfast. Lunch was potato and leek soup with 3 ryvita and dairylea.

Raging with myself over last night. I really really want a half pound off. Though I've felt heavier all week even though I've been sticking to plan.
 
STS this week, which was great since I feel like I've weight on but I'm still disappointed since it was only a half pound needed for the next award (don't think I'll complain ever again when I've lost 'only' half a pound lol)

So... planning on drinking loads more water this week since I know I don't drink nowhere near enough. I'm going to keep a proper track of my syns. I'l try to keep below 10 a day cos I don't think 15 works for me!

Fingers crossed star week isn't going to mess up next weeks weigh in!
 
Horrible day yesterday :(

Had a 13 hour shift at work, which wasn't that bad cos I just brought in a load of food with me but then there were a few incidents at work which just wrecked the day! One being a theft of well over £300 in stock in just 9 minutes!! Nobody seen it but I seen who done it when I looked at the CCTV so called the police in which meant I didn't get my third break as planned so was really hungry by the time I got home.
Good thing was I just snacked on my HEB and fruit and then went to bed.

B: strawberries, banana and lemon/lime activia yog
L: potato and leek soup/ salad
S: apple (had planned on having ryvita and dairylea triangles but didn't have time to)
D: 5 corn thins (HEB)/ alpen light and rocky road (HEB)

HEA was milk in a few cups of coffee although it wouldn't have been 250mls. I've been trying to get my full HEAs in for calcium as my teeth have got quite weak over the last few years I've been doing SW. Sister thinks it's been due to limiting milk and cheese since she was the same. I did buy calcium tablets but never remember to take them (bought the pack a month ago and have only taken them twice!!)

Not sure what to have today. Not starting work till this evening so it's kinda like a day off although it will be 5 o'clock in no time!!
Wish I was one of the types that could plan my food days in advance... maybe someday soon I'l actually sit down and do that!

Work was fine yesterday apart from when the 2 who stole the day came in. I seen them straight away and ran over. Lucky my manager who had just left came back in and told them to leave and why. The girl was shocked and tried to say it wasnt her but was told its all on camera and police had been called. They left pretty quick after that so hopefully they won't be back! Makes me so angry!!!:mad:

Anyway... food so far today
B: pineapple/ 2 ryvita and dairylea ( half A and B)
L: mushy pea curry and rice
S: plum and banana
D: bolied eggs

Haven't actually made it home yet. Am 'granny sitting' since my mum is away otherwise would've had more for dinner! Will probably eat more after I get home after putting Granny to bed. Although I did buy a big bar of dairy milk with dime pieces earlier and it's in my car right now. 3 chunks is 4 syns. I'll have to get my boyfriend to hide it or Il end up eating the whole bar (think that's 30 syns worth and it would be very easy to eat that!)
 
OH had chips ready for me when I finally got home last night. Had them with the last of the curry and then ryvita minis (1.5 B worth!) and 8 syns worth of dairymilk and dime yuminess!

Nothing so far today only coffee. Was planning on porridge for breakfast but don't feel hungry enough for it.

Great news this morning, my sis asked me to be godmother for my baby niece!!! Was completely unexpected and am absolutely delighted. Christening is in 2 weeks :)

Plans for today is food shop in tesco, running low on fruit and veg!

B/L (since I ate it round 1.30!) Porridge (A and B) with raspberries
S: shared a bag of hoops and crosses cos hungry on way back from tesco (2 syns), 2 satsumas
D: baked sweet potato, quorn fillet, roast carrot and parsnip, peas and corn on cob. Rocky road hifi (3 syns) and banana ML.
S: ryvita minis (B), dairy milk dime (8 syns).

Back down at Grannys. Have a toffee ML with me if I really need to eat again!
 
Didn't eat the mullerlight last night but had a mini bag of haribo instead (2.5 syns)

Food today
B: porridge (A and B) with raspberries
L: baked sweet potato, 2 LM sausages, onion and chive cottage cheese and roast carrot and parsnip
S: apple betty (4 syns)
D: red pepper and sweet potato soup

OH has made a cake! No idea why he got it in his head he wanted to make one. May have a small piece later, or eat the rest of the apple betty left which would be another 4 syns.
 
Ok so last night I ate the rest of the apple betty and had a (big) slice of cake! Although I seen in my book that cooked fruit can be a B choice on green days. It's 375g of apple (cooked weight). I used 175g in the recipe, don't think the weight would've changed that much as it didn't go very soft so I took that as half a B and ate a rocky road too! Therefore the only syns in the recipe would've been 25g sultanas- 3.5 syns. That may be tweaking the plan a bit but its not like I'm going to do it every day! I also ate 3 chunks of DM with dime (4 syns) so would've been well over the 15 with the cake!

Anyway, I'l keep the syns low today, I have most days anyway this week so I know if I don't get a loss tomorrow it's cos of stupid star week.
Plan today is fruit for breakfast, red pepper and sweet potato soup with ryvita and dairylea (A and B) for lunch. Working 4-9 later so might make some potato and leek soup to have before then. I love my soup maker :) once the veg is chopped up it's only 21 minutes till it's ready!

It was nice for a change, I just halved the recipe and used an activia vanilla yogurt as it was the right size. It was very filling.
Food today:
B: coffee
L: red pepper and sweet potato soup, 4 ryvita and dairylea (A and B)
S: veg soup/stew (had planned on making potato and leek soup but made a soup/stew thing instead with a leek, potatoes, carrots, onion, sweet potato and celery) and sliced banana covered in banana mullerlight
S: peanut hifi (B)
D: 2 bowls of the soup/stew thing!
S: toffee mullerlight, dairy milk dime (4) and milkybar (3.5)
