new start, we have let things slip

Oh, if we could just go to bed, put our order in for a size ten body and next morning... dar dar... size ten!

But that wont happen so I will stick to the slimming world and swimming and try my best to be good!

the 1 lb a week club is our sub title but as you can see from our tickers we do not always manage a lb. i am travelling on ocean village around the med.
 
hey fb, that sounds okay to me in relation to what you ate. Everyone does something slightly different so i dont see why sticking to 1200 cals wouldnt work. My aim for today is to aim for as close to 1 litre of fluid as is possible and to go to a spinning class after work. Have woken up with a very bad head though and not sure why other than totm.
Im not sure if I want to be a size 10 as that seems like a lot of hard work. Im currently a 14 and to be honest everywheres sizes are slightly different. I struggle to get lower than 14 on top cos of bust so for me its more about how i look and feel rather than the clothes size, but again we're all different. Plus I couldnt afford a whole new wardrobe! Knowing me I would start altering on the sewing machine!
Hope you both have good days and well done fb on day 1 on the shakes. Ive bought lots of salad and fruit so thats what im on but could incorporate either the shakes or ww soups during the day. For me its the evenings where food is a danger to me!
 
Evenings are also bad for me! It doesnt help when OH is always snacking! But then he eats loads and never puts weight on. I only have to cheat a couple of times and 2lb straight on. So I plan snacks just for the evenings, like home made soup or for sweet stuff I have caramel rice cake using sins. (tastes just like popcorn)
Another tip is... after tea I drink as near to a pint of water as I can. Seems to take ages then before I feel hungry.

You must need a lot of will power to do shakes, I love my food too much so would have no chance of sticking to it.
If I plan my meals for the week and just shop around those I do ok, its when I'm in the supermarket without a list that it all goes peek tong!
I'm a 14 too, never seen a size ten lol Would just be sooooooooo happy to get rid of the flabby bits!
 
patsy,i actually wear size 10 in trousers would you believe, i normally do slimming world but as things are not moving weight wise for me at the moment i am trying the shakes for a week. it is really hard as i am so used to eating lots of yoghurts and fruit throughout the day and have to rethink dinners too.
 
Well I hope you get a great result fb... you deserve it for sticking to just shakes.

Maybe making some ice cubes laced with mint to suck on if you get any sticky patches. Never looked at shakes so not sure how it works hun.

hope alls going well. I havent been in the gym since sunday so hoping to make up for it today, sat and sunday. let's see. hope youre managing with the shakes fb.
 
finally went to the gym this morning (saturday). Ive been a lil under the weather and currently have a throat n mouth infection. You would think this would put me off food - oh no! this just means im eating softer foods - like ice cream!! oops. still hoping to lose a pound this week. monday will reveal all :)
 
well it has been hard to adjust to the shakes but i am pleased to report 3lbs off, happy days so i have decided to do them for another week, i think the problems was trying to think calories but have got some ww meals in iceland and are only £1 at the moment and pasta and sauce aimed at kids which are in my calorie range.

it just takes a while to get your head round it so fingers crossed for another good week next week. i started the shakes on monday so really that was only 5 days on them last week.so am doing it for the full 7 days this week.
 
im following your version with the yoghurts this week i think as i sts. Ive hurt my back as of yesterday so back on the drugs which never helps. Ive set an aim for next week - to hopefully lose 2lbs. Lets see x
 
so far so good today. had a shake, a pear and a tuna salad so will prolly have a yoghurt and maybe something else of no more than a couple hundred cals later - maybe another shake. as long as dont binge will be ok. havent been able to go to the gym today as cant even sit down properly but will still try and go 3 times this week.
 
hey fb - a 5 day shake diet meant 3lbs off!! there will be no stopping u next week :)
 
i am eating all sorts of things like crisps, 2 figer kitkats, ww soup yoghurts, sugar free jelly, frozen fruit just keeping within 1200 calories oh and 2 shakes aswell.
 
all the best for weigh ins. got weighed at practice nurse and her scales had me lower which was a nice feeling but cant really go off them. hope youre well x
 
do you think that there is a chance that you could meet your mini target for your bithday, 4lbs off is what you are aiming for,yes?
 
can i eck!! :) i think im staying the same this week too! but will be on a crazy super diet the last few days before I go on the 5th. Will weigh in the 4th and see how close I get!
 
just back from gym. seem to be back into routine although backs a lil iffy. did 30 mins only on tues and wed but did a class on thursday and then stayed behind and did 15 mins on treadmill. Then yesterday did a spinning class and 20 minutes in the gym. Today ive done about 50 mins in gym and know i have some classes tomorrow. i must be converting some of the fat to muscle as would be expecting better losses surely. I have also had a good think. I think I need to reset my overall goal. partly because i think when you have less than a stone to lose you dont have same thirst for it and secondly because i need to lose more of a stone as theres too many wobbly bits now!! and i hadnt even realised! so ive reset my target to 10 and a half stone but no goal date. Will try for a pound a week as I am doing. Hope weigh in went well x
 
well i lost 1.4 lbs but am just going to call it a pound off, going to continue with the shakes until i go away i think as i am losing each week and am scared that if i go back to sw i will put weight on.
