new start, we have let things slip

hi ladies

i havent had a weigh in becuase i have been naughty this week . I did however just do the first week of the couch to 5k challange...and i didnt quite run all the bit i was meant to but i gave it a good effort!

how is everyone?
 
ooh tell us more about the couch to 5k challenge. It sounds interesting
I weighed 11st 13lbs but I think it will take a few weeks for body to get used to being under 12st so I dont mind. Happy with that for now as I know I am not having a great week diet wise but need to enjoy socialising a bit more and yes there always food involved so have to try and not go too crazy. Hope youre all doing well x
 
fb, did you manage the kettlebell class. i went to one a while back but it was too much for my aches n pains n meant i couldnt exercise the following day so decided I can do kettlebell exercises but not pure kettlebell classes. Hope you enjoyed it. I went to the gym yesterday morning and I am trying to convince a friend to go swimming late tonight. Foodwise not too great but feeling positive and have the bank holidays off :D
 
i loved the kettlebell class and and am doing it again tomorrow. found it hard work on the legs the next day but am hoping to try to do it twice a week if possible.
 
well done on the weight loss!!! you are the weight I want to be. I am managing the exercise but I dont think I am doing too well with the diet/ healthy eating. My tummy pains have flared up again so hoping to see the doc again soon. Really need them to help relieve it as getting very fed up with it now. Hope everyone else is doing well x
 
hi im doing good i have a 2lb gain, so i am at 11st 13lb. Not to bad though i have had a few days with alot of junk food. and not too much moving. But i am hoping to give the couch to 5k another go when the sun is setting.

the couch to 5km is a thing on the mp3 player....music and has a man telling you when to run and walk doing intervalls. there are 8 weeks i think and you just move up to the next week after a bit. gonna tkae me more then a week i think.
 
Hi everbody!! Had a great few weeks, with my gorgeous men !! Haha!! Ate far too much, a week of going out for big meals everynight and booze !! I feel like I need to spend a week in the Minimins Confessional to come clean !!
Though saying that there is nothing like being at the Beach and seeing skimpy shorts and dresses etc, to give you a visual kick up the bottom, eh ??? Grrrr !!!!
Well back now and carried an extra 5.6 lbs back from the Beach !! Double Grrrrrr !!!
There is no bloody way I am going over 200 lbs again, so today is my fresh start, healthy foods, smoothies and fruit and a restart by the end of the week to structured exercise in my life. I know how to have fun, eh??
Going to catch up on here, the temp here is climbing up to the high 80's, just wish I could sit outside (with sun protection!) and melt the fat off !!
Missed you guys, please keep posting ....to keep me sane......to keep me inspired !!!!

Hi all. I am still here but not managing to come online much. I think I have put on around 4-5lbs so will be hoping to get back on track after the long weekend is over. Will be back properly very soon. Keep posting x
 
Week 1 finished, cals controlled, drank enough juice smoothies with soo much goodness in them I should be glowing with wholesomeness !!! I wish !!! Feel like I am bobbing along like a cork of the amount of water I have glugged. Have been SO HUNGRY this week in the evenings, my body trying to trick me into snacking and grazing, I just drowned it's naughtiness with more water !!!
Result is 3.6 lbs lost, yay !! Now let's see if I can do it again this week.....

Come on gals, it's May already !!!! Is it me or is time flying by ?? Have a good week !!

excellent start to may viva la diva, i only managed 1/2 lb this week and am not happy as my scales said 2lbs off but better off than on.
 
ok so appear to have put on lots. weighed in today at 12stone 5lbs and it is also totm. Heres to getting back on track yet again
 
Hi FSO, how much of that gain do you think is water ? Due to TOTM ? It always used to get me like that and I could balloon up like 7 lbs!! Eeek!
I'm measuring my waist and it's slowly coming off, so I may try to concentrate on the inches for a change as I feel really brain scrambled with crunching the calorie numbers! Maths was never my forte !! Hehe !!

so is it a new start for may fso? are are you not mentally ready to start back to it yet. you know it is only going to happen when you are ready. we have all gone mad at some stage, look at me put alot back on and trying to get it off again. at least you have been honest and came on and admitted it, it took me a long time to come back on here and say i had put on.

Forever re-starting and failing but need to nuckle down once and for all.

Not sure which way to turn at the minute. Went back to LL last saturday and have only done day 1 100%, eat on day 2 and day 3. Here I am day 4 drank coffee and water and not even thinking I can face another shake!!!

So need to make my mind up once and for all and either get stuck into lighterlife (which i have failed at many times before)! Or get it out of my head and go to WW and take it slow and steady.

Will be back later when I decide what I am doing!!!!

Hi Size 16 !!! I was bigger than you, and although it has taken me ages and ages, and years and years of diets I am slowly finding my path. It's a rocky road but I KNOW it only leads to one destination...........

You are facing some tough choices with your diet. If you are struggling to even start LL, I think you already have your answer... I hope you find something that you can stick too, Dieting is such an emotional and personal thing. Let us know what you decide!! When I first started cal counting and low fat you do have to face the fact that this IS the slow way, but I was sooo worn out by all the other diets and quack weight loss ideas, I felt like even a pound a week was worth it, not just the actual weight loss but for saving my sanity.....

My goal for May is to get back down to 12stone as its really gone wrong. Not thinking about anything else or anything lower right now. Yes the food has gone silly and struggling but hoping for a better week this week. Only next week will tell if managing to get back on track....lets see
